- Since the 1950s we have been sending space probes out into the solar system to explore distant planets and moons. Some of these amazing probes were designed to land and photograph the surface of certain worlds, but what did the see? Let's take a look!

Do not forget the Mars Lander from the Soviet Union landed on Mars before.

Yup!
@Tyrone yeah but at least now images can possibly be acknowledged as time lapse photos and/or extra slow video frames per hour whatever. They also have both a photo and sound recording from Venus's probe which appears dishonest compared to ancient A-M radio during weather experiences. But now they divulge time slots in multimedia signal to uncontradict thereby revealing missing thunder and audio static segments. If not for Mar's sunset video, I would suspect them for boondoggling conartists concerning Venus. Otherwise some type of lightning strikes should have signaled through their electronics. I felt cheated, dumbed down, by the Russian dummer reports which omitted explanation clues. Americans make it difficult too but at least sometimes possible to comprehend. Mars dust-devils danced across larger area than shown on space-video clips.
Humans: I wonder what's out there
Planets: best I can do is ROCKS
What if the aliens live in the underground of those planets 🤔 lol
Also gases. Don't forget the gases! Lol
@@youngstickz Don't try to ask that question. They probably don't, if they did live anywhere near us. They know that we exploring space, making them hide better I assume. Since their aircraft is abnormal, we don't know how the work.
If we go on here as we do now, there will be only rocks too...
@@youngstickz there's a great amount of chance that aliens exist on Venus's clouds and Mars's rocks as microbes
Maybe as dead organic substances like viruses which get alive when they enter a host or something

It's still astonishing to see these pictures and clips. To see what's so far away in such detail, it never gets old.
I know right!! And it’s not just a picture, it’s a picture from a place millions of kilometers away which makes it the extra more astonishing.
It's mental that one day people are going to land on Mars and experience a feeling no one else has, not even the Apollo teams. To see a sun set through what seems like a filter, standing on a baron world millions of miles away
im from Wales would you like a photo of my living room?
I know what you mean exactly. It's such a captivating feeling. Such nearly incomprehensible size, distance and time. I often look at the hubbell galleries online to get more of that feeling.
And what about those images from the surface of Pluto....mind blowing!!
When i was young i would go to the roof of our summer house in the night, fortunately there wasn't much light pollution back then. I would lay down and stare at the night sky revealing brilliant stars, the more i look the stars the bigger and clearer the view gets. After an hour or two i could recognize constellations and every now and then i would be terrified, to feel how tiny i was in a vast enormously gigantic universe. but it was so satisfying. Sadly i didn't have time to pursue or do things i loved in my life. Many responsibilities came as years passed by, and now when i watched this it just reminded me of that 12 years old boy full of dreams and curiosity. This is beautiful and magnificent work put together to make an informative video. You've more than earned my like and subscribe!
Stephen, sounds like you and I had a similar childhood and fascination with the universe. I grew up in the 70's and 80's. Today, I own a home in the mountains of Western North Carolina that is very remote with absolutely no light pollution for many many miles. On a cold winter night, I can look up into the night sky and sometimes I see things that would amaze you, like the passing of satellites lit up by the Sun. One night, I saw a mysterious object, very odd light that sent chills down my spine as it would pulsate and move back and forth across the sky.
Sounds like me in the 90s and 00s :) I still stay in the same area, though, and still look to the sky often. Used to be able to see the small and large magellanic clouds, not anymore what with the growing light pollution. Very sad. What got me replying is the mysterious object you saw. I've seen similar things a few times here, and also when I was in the mountains about 100km from here. Rationally, it might have been a few satellites following each other, looking like what you described, but I dunno, man... I've also once or twice seen red flashing lights in the sky. Exciting, if anything!
I had similar experiences when I would go visit my grandparents. They would lay a blanket in the grass and I would stair at the night sky for hours. I was fortunate enough to be able to go to Space Camp at the Kennedy Space Center when I was 14 and now when I am 30 I still am gripped by my fascination for the universe. I would do more for the Space Program, but since I am not skilled in Mathmatics or engineering that future could never happen, but if I could go to space and afford it, I would go in a heartbeat
I like you comment man glad to see someone was the same way loved to look up at the night sky not much light pollution it’s great my cousins house was the best in was out in the country nearest house was 2 miles away and the drive way to his house was like a half mile it was a really nice 2 story house but nothing beats the open night sky
dang i wish i had a cool roof :(
Space is so amazingly mysterious...
Not as much as the ocean.
Biraj Thapa yes 100,000,000,0000,000x more mysterious
@Leander Herman space is still mysterious, there's like billions of other planets, and more we haven't discovered. Millions and probably billions of galaxies as well
We are so fortunate. For tens of thousands of years, Mankind has gazed at the heavens and could only wonder what was out there. Today, we can actually see the surfaces of alien worlds. Amazing.
Idk, but CZcams's recommendation is more mysterious than the space, at least for me lol
Hi Everyone, I hope you enjoyed the video. It’s another relaxed one, no fast transitions or sound effects, just real images from amazing worlds that we have visited. A nice watch before bed 😉. Every night I look in the sky and see these planets as a Dot in the sky. I say to myself that these dots are actually humongous bodies that are so far away. What is happening there? Maybe there's a strom moving there? These are the questions I ask to myself. Every night I go to the roof and look at the sky, what a beautiful world it is.
Exactly 😂 and I ask myself what if there are beings in a different dimension we can't see living life everyday there..space is so beautiful and mysterious but so terrifying!
Me too every time the sky is clear, and if you have binoculars or a telescope it's even better 😄
@@zenith7024 I just got a 70mm! Not the best out there but you can see a lot..Mars has been close enough to get a good view..the bands on Jupiter and its moons can be seen pretty well..and the rings of Saturn..it always amazes me though that Saturn and Jupiter are so huge but Saturn looks so tiny in the scope lol see a lot of weird stuff I don't know what it could be as well😂
@@averyevans8115 I started off with a 70mm refractor, then eventually went up to a heavy 120mm refractor, and the details are much better, I've seen Saturn up close with cloud bands and even different colours on the rings, but what amazes me is galaxies, even though they appear very faint and fuzzy they are filled with billions of stars, which in turn probably have trillions of planets. Ye I know what you mean about dimensions, I've often thought about that myself, we know very little about whats out there in space, maybe in time we will know more 😄
So I’m not the only one ;)
Imagine the view on Saturn from its Moon Titan.. Must be so beautiful!
You can't see it.
you cant see it because of the dense atmosphere and methane gas clouds
You probably wouldn't be able to see Saturn on Titan because of how hazy it's atmosphere is
Something worth thinking of,must be really wonderful...
Psh, he can just land on a different moon, there are plenty to go around.

Truly happy for you.
My inspiration was The Twilight Zone, or Mr. Rod Serling, in writing. And too numerous the number of sci-fi artists to list in my art.
Too bad there was no lander on the New Horizons Pluto mission like the Huygens probe on Cassini.. Granted, they had absolutely no idea what to expect at Pluto, and that is a bad way to design a landing probe.. But still, it would have been really cool to have some surface photos and data..

I really enjoyed seeing images of Mars. Then, there were “incredible” images of the planet of Venus that were “amazing” images of the Venusian surface! I always wondered if man-made spacecraft could survive on its surface long enough to send clear photos.

I really like the narrator's rationale for space exploration. Not only does it create news jobs and technologies, but space exploration also helps bring nations together. Maybe our endless curiosity about the heavens will help forge common bonds among all peoples on Earth, making our planet a safer place. We can only hope.

However few... i love the images of Venus. Mainly because it's such an inhospitable place - not that you'd notice from the photos themselves. Would be great to get a standard colour photo of the surface in different areas.

Excellent video. I love this stuff. Thank you
Cool video. Love this channel.
Venus' surface always fascinated me. For the Soviet probe to last as long as it did in 900 degree F surface temperature with Venus' absolutely terrible atmospheric pressure along with acid rain coming down it's a miracle it even survived for one minute. I'm willing to bet Venus has totally broken down the Venera probes back into the base elements that they came from. It's a hellish place is understatement.
Did you know that there are locations in the atmosphere of Venus, where you could live with just a gas mask? And we could have a settlement floating at that height, because in Venus's atmosphere, oxygen is buoyant.
@@fortnite.burger I remember one 70's PBS fictional show in which a scientist released algae into Venus' upper atmosphere converting the greenhouse gases into oxygen. After the atmosphere cleared up he found out he'd killed unknown surface life after the terraforming lol.
@@tomservo5347 That sounds like a good show. I don't think that there could be life on Venus though, since it is so hot and there are no areas on the surface at a livable temperature, and a complete lack of water. I think Enceladus, Titan, and Europa have the highest chances of having life.
Once again a great video. Thanks
I love your videos so much. Thank you

It's crazy, in the Venus photos. In the first one, you can see how good/clean the probe looks. But in the final one, it's melted.
Just shows you how hot Venus is, not to mention the crushing pressure, Venus would be like a hell zone for us, but I've heard high up in the clouds temperatures are more closer to earths
@@zenith7024 Yeah, it's true. Venus has potential to have blimps with US placed in the clouds.

I really like the narrator's rationale for the importance of space exploration: it helps create new jobs, new technologies, and bring nations together.
5:14 Probably also worth mentioning USSR's Mars 3, which landed before Viking 1, transmitted for ~20 seconds sending back a 70 lines of an image before suffering from a possible electrostatic discharge (may have been hit by lightning). Had Mars 3 not land in the middle of a dust storm it might have survived longer. I probably also would've added images from Philae (ESA's comet lander that hitched a ride on the Rosetta probe) and images from JAXA's Hayabusa 2 accompanying spacecraft (Rover 1A/1B I think it was).
Thanx for that, that was amazing. I always love seeing real images from foreign planets
Again a truly fantastic video...The back ground music works too....love it...
Amazing photos. But it is sad that we have only landed on the moon, Venus, Mars and Titan so far. I want pictures from the surface of Mercury, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto, Enceladus, Triton, Pluto etc. Perhaps some day.
S t x x m y•b q t t e r f i y Venus is hotter than Mercury gets during the day I believe
Actually we landed on a comet and several asteroid as well
@S t x x m y•b q t t e r f i y the Philae lander on rossetta spacecraft (ESA) landed on comet 67p hayabusa landed on asteroid itokawa and hayabusa 2 landed on ryugu about 2 years ago there are few others I can't remember
@S t x x m y•b q t t e r f i y Mercury is not as hot as Venus even though it's closer to the Sun Venus has had a runaway greenhouse effect that makes it 900 Degrees night and day hot enough to melt lead and it makes the Rocks glow red Mercury because it has no atmosphere to speak of is 750 degrees during the day and - 300 at night
@S t x x m y•b q t t e r f i y run away greenhouse effect 900 degrees night and day. Mercuru 750 in the day ÷300 at night
