The question of the slogan whether are we truly the Light of the Nation should go to the person that changed it, we are not here for politics, second you talk about can a city or state have a master plan that if any new government that took over from previous government continue were they stop the answer is yes, But it required a visionary leaders, Anambra state start their master plan during last obiano tenure, Some of the things soludo is doing now is something we should have done since by now he would have chanel his energy in technology and other things but we still talking about roadnetwork in Nigeria, Thanks God soludo is here to change the narrative please mr solution we need massive revolution across the whole state.

@@Styve_22 Just look at what you are saying. You are building a country in advance using those metropolitan areas. Plan news cities entirely just like some Arab countries do. Now is the time to use those large expanse of virgin landscape to plan a future cosmopolitan indigenous five star cities. Build a solid standard road networks down and you see people resettling towards those corridors. Literate countries don't build for now , they build in the envisage of a future population explosion. If regional government for instance should happen then, there will be need for road expansion of roads in some of these areas that you are referring to as metropolitan areas which will amount to demolitions of buildings because of no foresight as to seeing the future. Wide road building is fitting for those areas because Awka amongst others have use buildings to cover the whole roads hence we need new well planned five star towns/cities.

The idea of toll gate is not acceptable in Anambra state. They should not bring that nonsense from Lagos to Anambra state, the question that should be asked, one company can not collect toll gate for eternity. What is the time limits to collect toll gate? There should be a definite time limit for this toll. That is what should be implemented, not giving one company absolute limitless time to make money for eternity. Even the toll gate should be accepted there are conditions to be met, there must be transparency because the road is public road and not a private road, these are the conditions that should be necessary for these toll gate, the length of these road there must be light poles running from the beginning to the end, there must be CCTV on the route, electronic display speed limit should be displayed, the entire stretch of the route should be turned to smart expressway or motor way, and there must be alternative route to be used for other drivers do not wish to use the toll gate road, this is how it is done is other climes. There must be a giant display board of the money collected for the toll gate so that users should know how much is generated from the public, Anambra do not want to give one company in Anambra state absolute right to generate income for eternity, as long as the company collect toll gate fee, the money should go to the maintenance of the roads. Counted time should be implemented to stop the company when the company must have recoup the money invested in the construction of the road. The collections of the toll gate fee must be solely card payments not cash collections, so as not put cash in the hands of few individuals, who will siphone the company's money. Transparency should be utmost for this company.
