Extra? It's literally his theme from both RE2 OG and Remake combined into one!
Edited: It's a mix between both his themes "Fear is no word for it" and "Looming Dread"

The thing about HUNK in the original is that, since he didn't have a knife, you had to be very careful about spending ammo, which is where the neck breaker comes in - HUNK is basically a skill gate for those who master setting enemies up for melee attacks. Hard to use, but play him right and you'll be leaving a sea of broken necks wherever you go.
Here, however, not only did they give him a knife (albeit one that can break), Mayhem Mode gives him INFINITE AMMO.
Those Ganados may as well have stayed in bed that morning.

I like both Hunks from the original and in this remake. Really fun. A shame REmake 4 now has microtransactions.

Even in the original in late game, he has so many TMP ammo you can basically go wild against large enemies or horde. Here however, infinite ammo and a lot of grenades make things so so much easier, and he still gets a lot of ammo too 🤣. Man is too OP.

@@VerydumbAlot Well I would say that it will be very hard fight for both cause HUNK is the most dangerous "normal" character in the series and doesnt let his emotions get in his way. So if wesker messes around at all, Hunk will kill him. If wesker goes for the kill, Hunk will die BUT he will make wesker work for it

Hunk is easily my favorite for me.
Just one automatic weapon to worry about using, infinite ammo when ready to mow down everything in sight, and a melee move that can be used on anything with an instant kill. I rack up the points fast with him.
Kruger is the strongest because he can kill 4 bosses in one ult instantly plus his knife can kill all enemys .

What I like about this is the fact that HUNK does take a bit of damage. I know people like to do “No-Damage” playthroughs, but him taking an arrow or two and just continuing through the mission without batting an eye adds to him being a badass, if you ask me.

Imagine a movie or show where HUNK acts like a mixture between The Raid and John Wick just taking out waves and hallways of enemies just to go one-on-one with Nemesis.

Yeah, and I agree with that. Back in the OG RE4, we only got TMP as a SMG(Thompson/Chicago Typewriter being another one, but it's a Special Weapon), and HUNK there used what it looks like a B&T MP9 SMG(which is also a TMP, but made by different company after Steyr sold the SMG design to B&T).
But now that HUNK got the HK MP5 SMG back..... HK Slap FTW!!
@@GuardianOfTheHeaven That's because the MP9 model exists in the original. Krauser has it when you're playing the story, in the remake he just use the TMP with stock attachment

@@garudanathanael5257 The funny thing is, he aims his TMP from his shoulder instead of from the hip, unlike Leon. Which is nice so it saves some space for items cause the bow is huge

I enjoyed that one very much! I can't only imagine the Mercenaries in RE2 , where some guy made the record with just a knife, which is hella insane to think even. I think it is Nicolai, whom you choose to play as , he wields only the knife, I believe.

@@mr.commenter395 but after Umbrella got ass handed, Hunk has gone underground and started to work as a normal mercenary, we can tell he is doing a great job beign underground cause no one has ever found out anything about his whereabouts, that or the devs a bit lazy to reference him in the later RE games

Hunk is one of those characters who literally has no history, personality or a specific objective, but still has such a bad-ass vibe that it's a pleasure to see him.

It is a shame that they didn't gave him his iconic TMP Custom model from the original RE4, otherwise, everything looks sick on him as always.
I think they want to be relevant for lore wise, since custom TMP is not standard military weapon, MP5 is more common use in military or mercenary

Remember everyone he’s doing all of this in a gas mask which let me tell you that shit gets real, humid and hard to breathe when you are gasping for your life sprinting around and killing people

It’s so weird how they sawed off the iron sights for the MP5, like why? They’re a crucial part of its iconic silhouette.

Good that they add the Brute for the Village stage to balance Hunk out. He was the kryptonite for village stage back in the og, able to break every single enemy neck in the stage including Bella Sisters while other character (except Krauser) have to fight them normally.
They made the Animation longer just to nerf it lmao

Watching Hunk in Mayhem mode is so satisfaying.
Always have a blast when using hunk, but I hoped that capcom would've added some of his mercenaries 3D moves like his move (THE END) or the (SIDEKICK), hopefully down the line they might add more moves for my boy hunk, other than that i love it. ...

This is actually kind of quaint and nice to watch after a year and a ton of people putting up 2m+ runs. My man didn’t even know to get the chicken 🐓, slam headshots in mayhem, or neck break all mini bosses on the village and racked up all the body shots
I'm glad they have their own unique abilities. CoD could learn from that instead of generic stuff for every character.

So, back in the days of the Wii, I used hunk exclusively. The castle level was my go to because it was a linear track from start to finish and the enemies were predictable. On the wii hunk had a melee move that was AN ABSOLUTE MONSTER shoot them in the knee and then freaking punt them to death. I had a similar killstreak through the castle level.

As good as Krauser is in The Mercenaries, and as great as his mutated arms are for his Mayhem Mode, I gotta give it to Hunk for being the most fun to play as. And I personally think it's way more fun mowing down a wave of enemies charging at you with his infinite ammo Mayhem Mode 🔥💪

Hunk in original was a unit and my favorite to play followed by ada. His tmp shreds and for village level he can kill bella sisters very easily. For other floor bosses you have to change your strategy but thats what makes him rewarding. He only has one weapon which is great for ammo conservation specially as his melee is a sure kill move. I kinda wish automtic weapons were strong in this game as were in original
