Shortly before the events of Cataclysm, an exiled noble had retaken Durnholde Keep and its surrounding area, declaring himself de facto King of Lordaeron as told in the preceding campaign Lordaeron's Legacy. After retaking a slice of the former Kingdom he has now styled himself as King Candor, a move which has proven unpopular with many in the Alliance. In this period of great unrest there are many heroes and villains trying to survive, claim power, or just do what they believe is right.

3:14 - Spiked Barricades is the white spikes that are added to horde structures when it's upgraded. The normal brown spikes on Burrows don't do anything.

Another great playthrough from you, and I enjoyed your commentary and perspectives!
In terms of that side Quest and the Sobi mask reward it's quite tricky and I honestly haven't figured out a good way to do the reward giving in this particular case, there's another Horde group tucked round the side of the road that I expected to be needed to be killed in order to obtain the 40, I didn't realise the last unit of that Horde group would fulfill the requirement so I might remove a couple so you need to go out of your way to complete the quest.
In terms of the story and Istan travelling to Kalimdor.... honestly? I was sick of fighting Undead so I wanted the player to fight Orcs for a couple of missions even though it makes no sense to send him to Kalimdor then back to Azeroth, in the story the excuse is that it is to hide their movements but honestly it's just a dumb story decision I made to justify fighting Orcs since for most of the rest of the campaign you will be fighting almost exclusively Undead.
I did find it a little funny when you called it a "micro-mission" at 20 minutes long since whilst it's not a long mission, 20 minutes I wouldn't describe as micro but maybe that's due to the extended lengths of a lot of missions in other campaigns.
Also looking back I think the voice acting does improve as I get a better handle on the AI and how it works, god looking back I really should've re-done some of these takes lol it's quite bad. I always had plans to re-do the Field Marshall but I think the Admiral could probably use the treatment as well.
Either way, I'm excited to see your thoughts going forward, mission 3 is a little rough imo but the missions after that go from strength to strength in my humble opinion.

Well, a micro mission is just a mission where you don't have a base. Not sure if that's a 'proper' term, or just something Jayborino says. I'm enjoying this campaign watch so far! You did a good job with it.

I am no expert on LORE .... but from what I remember Scholomance is still under scourges (or what is left of it) control. After the whole Shadowlands ordeal, we learned that liches and other powerful undead started gathering the undead and forming warbands, (it is happening since Lich King Arthas death). So it is a mess right now, and most undead are only a localised threat.
Blizz kinda forgot that there must always be a Lich King.
@@Macielos1 Well Sylvanas did ripped the Helm of Domination in two, literally.
Hard to have a new Lich King without it, as far as I know.

The admiral wouldn't be out of place in The room with this voice "acting"... and Lady text-to-speech is pretty funny too sometimes. The AI has now idea how to put "your majesty" in a complete sentence, it seems. Candor is good though.
Otherwise nice map, the timer seems to be well balanced.
Yeah watching some of these videos back I have definitely improved in training the AI and getting better takes out of it, I have planned to re-do the Field Marshall's for a while but haven't gotten round to it. I didn't recall the Admiral's being so bad tbh but it is kinda funny. In general, there are quite a few dialogue lines that could probably do with being re-done :) in my next campaign the AI voice acting is a lot better.
Surely the horde would be able to see the fleet movements of an alliance fleet going from Azeroth to Kalimdor back to Azeroth.
I like the alliance tent model. The blue looks very cool.
Those are the very special gnomish uboats. The only way to detect them is to smell the sauerkraut when they pop up.
I mean, its reasonable to assume they're just heading home for reinforcements and supplies

Scholomance is controlled by Alliance or Horde in current WoW timeline, it depends on which faction you play.
