Driving in Croatia: Autocesta A1 E65 & D1 from Šibenik to Split

In this video you can drive along on Autocesta A1 E65 & D1 from Šibenik to Split in Croatia's Dalmatia region. The A1 is Croatia's main motorway connecting the North with the South following the country's long coastline.
Šibenik is one of the larger cities in the Dalmatia Region, although Split and Zadar are even bigger cities. Split is the country's 2nd largest city and the largest city in Dalmatia. It has a UNESCO listed old town and was a famous filming location for the series Game of Thrones.

Nice drive, but it's like driving through a desert except with trees, rocks and bushes 🌲🌳🌳🌲 The last part has an impressive access way to Split and the Adriatic 👍😎

I don't think I have seen any on the highway during the entire trip.

Beware of this "absence" of police since Croatian police has special highway dedicated police units in unmarked civilian cars that are tracking speeders!

Croatian police alongside usual traffic police also has dedicated highway units that are usually driving in unmarker - civilian looking cars.
They're especially tracking speeders!
