As someone who lived through the see through plastic electronics industry phase, it's really fun to see that come back here. You should definitely give that parts express headband a try which I could send over along with another pair of the KSC75 but it might be cheaper just to buy that stuff hah

I have /an/ PartsExpress headband, not sure if it's the same one people usually recommend. It's a bit too small for my head. It does fit the Koss ball joint, though a bit loosely.
I ended up extracting the titanium drivers from a UR40, which thankfully have the same ball joint, and fixed them to a Porta Pro headband 😍

Haven't tried the newer headphones, but I've had 3 Porta Pros over the years and every one has shorted out. To be fair, Koss has been very good with the warranty, but how many times is too many..? Is it just me or is it the cables/soldering?
I have an apparently very rare vintage set of Koss (possibly) professional headphones somewhere (can't remember the model number but was never able to find them on the interwebs). They also have a short. Needless to say, it would be nice if they could make their headphones more sturdy because I really do like the Koss sound signature and design (except for the occasional hair pulling)...The sound is kind of like chilling in a light sleeping bag in a hammock...Ok, now I'm talking myself into trying their new headphones...
