I reach out to creators personally! Most of the music I use is Celtic or Folk music, so my only real option for music *IS* to ask independent creators, since the YT Audio library has a limited supply of mermaid/ fairy-esque tunes!

I've been trying to find public domain soundtracks to use for my stop-motion short films, and I do know the two that are public domain is the Firebird Suite and the Rite of Spring, but I know that multiple recordings that have been made over the years are tricky if they are in the public domain or not. I would like to know the best website when it comes to classical music recordings like the Firebird Suite and the Rite of Spring that I can freely use with no hassle from CZcams's questionable copyright system.
These are great suggestions! I've usually just thrown some original beats together myself, in some music making software but... It's making me think that running my own custom created music library could be even more valuable than just using it for myself!

I watched your video a few months ago, since then I used royalty free music from CZcams audio library. Your content is really top.
Very informative video, but I've actually experienced someone getting a Copyright Strikes by using Music from the CZcams Library (over time).
But then again, It's rare. Also, in some cases CZcams will automatically add information from the music used (song, artist, album etc.) below the video description.
If this happens the music should be safe. I believe I know about a 5-6 year old video were this happened, and still no strikes to this day.
This was very helpful in the way that I won’t get caught up in some sort of copyright fiascos and it was very easy to put them in my video
Two pieces of advice: 1) Even if your friend is in the band and he says you can use it, GET A LICENSE IN WRITING. You never know what could happen later if they sign to a label. Most labels will honor your license if they didn't have the rights when you got it. 2) Don't assume that if you get hit with a violation that means the person who owns the copyright did it. There are companies out there that put claims on EVERY VIDEO with music, hoping you won't challenge the claim. If you don't, they get the monetization. If you have license, CHALLENGE THE CLAIM. **** I have used the CZcams library, and there's some good stuff there, but I mostly use Musicbed, which has a $10 monthly membership for CZcamsrs. You have access to almost the entire library.
If you end your subscription does that cause problems with your existing videos on CZcams?

I bought a 'royalty free' song and after a lot of hard work I uploaded my video on youtube... to get the message that the artist will get all the monetization. I neither want to rely on adsense but I had put so much effort in creating footage that I actually got really angry. I couldn't be asked to argue so I removed my video and changed (song) to one from CZcams's library before uploading again.
Looking forward to explore some new options tough! Looking for a song for 3 upcoming videos :)

Same! Extremely frustrating to do all that work only to find out I can’t monetize my own video. I’ve been spending the last 2-3 weeks searching website to website, song after song, and I’m freaking exhausted. I don’t have money to pay for a really nice song, but none of the free ones sound that good. It’s an all around aggravating situation.
same thing happened with even you-tube library too. In you tube library, they mentioned "you can use it any of your song" . after hard work i could not upload my work . CZcams muted my video.

Unique Music Artist here, just came across this channel. Love the info! Reading comments to see what it is that Content Producers want and crave. After watching so many vids on YT during Civid, I am saddened everyones background music sounds the same. Its nice music but it gets monotonous after a while. I never knew about the CZcams audio library. For me that's really good to know I have at my disposal, since I am still under the age of 18, so I don't have any money to pay for memberships for sites, and since I'm not a big time CZcamsr because of school, it really works great for someone of my caliber.
