The first vid I'm working on is not so much my main idea of my new channel, but something I'll be incorporating as additional vids and information. But, as a dry run, I decided to use my granddaughters making toilet bombs (fizzies), they're 6 & 7 (they had fun helping me out). Figured it would be a good run at trying the new camera and learning software to edit it before I embarrass myself and put me out front and center, lol... All good though...
I'm finally making a gaming video with the same attempt at humor lol.
weird enough there are children here in our country that struggle now with our own native language due to most content being available in English. (my daughter included) so in our effort to have her learn our language she will also learn by doing a teach-back through her content :) That we she helps herself and hopefully help others too! (that and some fun stuff, we're keeping her entertained given the lockdown) lol
Iâm working on editing my vlog experience starting out in the modeling industry. I am so stoked- itâs coming along so well đ
Last fall I did a series of little history-focused video projects with my grandkids to learn how to do ... well ... anything involving video. Next I'm working on a 77-day video challenge recommended by Darren LaCroix from Stagetime University, but I'm going to modify his rules to suit my purposes. I'll do CZcams videos, learning to turn them out quickly while still having decent content, and I'll suggest ideas grandparents can use to use to create history-focused videos with their grandkids. All 20 of my followers (who are all relatives) are bound to enjoy it ; )

Since i started my channel i always go by one rule, âAs long as You Are Not Bored With Your Own Content, You Are On The Right Pathâ
That's a good guideline. Figuring out your target audience and stepping in their shoes is also effective - what do THEY want? Deliver that.

I've tried to be successful on CZcams for a couple of years now and it took those couple of years to understand that it isn't about the number. Just focus on your growth as a producer, editor, cameraman, and person and you will be much happier. That's what does it for me

I've been on CZcams for 16 years and used to have an active channel back in 2006-2009 when I worked as a radio personality. However, I stopped making videos in 2009 and my subscriber count dropped significantly. I've been looking to build my account back up again after many years. So thank you for this video! "Answer Specific Questions" is a great way to kickstart teaching/sharing information. Thanks for reminding me of things I was taught in debate and speechwriting years ago.

A good way to start is to wonder what you want to create yourself, what do you love doing. Why would you want to make a popular video? Make something you are proud of for yourself and don't judge yourself based on the number of likes or viewers. Or others, for that matter

Looking at the comments I would just say this,do not quit! It will take a long time but treat it like something you enjoy and it will happen for you!
Even after starting my channel I'm still taking hours of watching these videos to learn and grow. And I'm grinding and making sure I post one TikTok, one CZcams short, one CZcams video eveyday. I've also shared my CZcams on Facebook and was worried about people trampling my dreams yet I was shocked and surprised to see that I got Soo much support! I'm going to keep grinding and I'm not going to slow down. I've got this! No! We've got this!

I was just reading Tony Robbins new book, and in the first chapter he discusses again how he realized that the best way to figure out how to improve his life was to find people who had already done it, and learn from them. So this is a big point here. There are people who went from ZERO to 10,000 subscribers. It can be done. There are methods and paths to get it done. So hopefully, Heather can show us HOW to do it. SHE did it. This is the way SHE and others have done it, so it's learnable. That's very encouraging.
To all my fellow content creators starting their channels, let's just be 1% better each day. Let's make that our focus, keep grinding and believing. We got this family. Let's get it.

I started my videos with "How to" topics. Still doing it right now! Because sometimes my friends ask me questions in my niche and I thought maybe someone else on the internet has that question too!
Iâm close to 50k subs and one thing I learned is that if you dont take the time to study your analytics, youâll never whatâs working for your channel. Focus on optimizing your content as much as possible using high CTR thumbnails and SEO optimized videos.
As a new CZcamsr.... i can admit that controling my self to not be on the analytics tab the whole time is reeeally difficult...

I really struggle with how to topics because in my own niche - (health and fitness) everyone wants âhow to lose weight in 1 dayâ or âhow to jump to x or y extremeâ and my approach to health and nutrition is the exact OPPOSITE!
Itâs been a true challenge but with more and more videos Iâm learning some of the pain points of my target audience âš
Answer the specific question YOU want to answer for YOUR audience. You don't want the audience that wants to lose weight in ONE day. You want the audience that wants to "Lose weight and keep it off." or You want the audience that wants to "Lose weight without DIETING (i.e., practicing sound nutrition). The loose weight in one day people are not your audience. Follow YOUR passion don't chase after the quick fix something for nothing crowd. There are fewer people in YOUR audience but they will be more loyal repeat viewers.
You can make videos about losing weight and keeping it of. How to stay motivated while keeping a healthy lifestyle. 5 small changes you can make to start your weightloss. How to get back on track after a cheat day. Pros of losing weight in a slow but sustainable way. Cons of losing weight to quickly. Hope these help. đ

Just do it. I procrastinated for a while and now I am more motivated than ever! I will have growth. Your first video may not be the best. Iâm fact itâs will be the worst more than likely (I mean look at mine for exampleđ). But hopefully that motivates you to make every video better after. Weather it be editing wise or script wise. Whatever!!! Point is. No one will subscribe to your channel if you never post anything. So just do it :) good luck to all!!

This is the fourth time me starting so wishing myself luck and to ALL THE NEW CREATORS OUT THERE!
I'm still struggling to see what my channel is even going to be about! I have a few skills and many interests but I don't know what to make the channel about. The obvious choice would be about my nail career and how I've had to stop doing fake nails because of an allergy that i deveoloped. If I did start a channel about that, but wanted to cover these other interests of mine, I guess I could always just start another channel later on, right?
I'm just struggling to decide what i want my channel to be about i guess. I feel like not as many people would watch nail videos, as would videos about money or health....should i just go for it and start a nail channel?
I love the idea that there's a team helping new and starting members of CZcams society.

I started my channel a few years ago. Never posted anything. This year I started posting videos. Iâm an outdoor channel. Mainly fishing. I didnât know where to even start other than to just go fishing and I love fishing! So far I have 53 subs and Iâm doing what I can do get better!!!!
