  • We head to the Ausable River in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York to find my favorite gemstone, Labradorite. It was an amazing day. The sky was clear, leaves were all sorts of different colors, the mountains were ferocious and the river was showing off its beauty.

I have found some of the greatest labradorite in Keene Valley, using a high powered flashlight. I go up to find it even in the icy creeks. You can find Wollastonite, Moonstone, Garnet, Labradorite, Magnetite, and Blue Calcite in some areas that I go to. I as well go to Herkimer Diamonds mine (quartz) in Middleton as well as Crystal Grove mines when opened. Awesome video.
