This is freaking sick! I have been playing a spread deck in casual with the new Ting-Lu that does 30 to the bench if there is a stadium in play and combo-ing with Mismagius that puts 2 damage counters on your opponent's bench.
We definitely have to respect the Greninjas! They whacked me good 😂

Well, He is not called "Munkidori" for nothing. He is the "brains" in the Loyal three after all in the kitakami arc.
I knew this toxic monkey will have a "Nasty plot" in the deck
This deck is inspiring me to build a variant: Dastardly Jab Scolipede instead of Hisuian Arcanine. Naturally parts of the deck will need tweaking.

This deck is a TON of fun to play. I dropped cleffa since I rarely found myself using her. also dropped 2 colress and added some copies of Calamitous snowy mountain to be able to get going quicker if you dont have any damage on munkidori. Been fantastic so far.
Will try this one out, but with Hisuian Overqwill. The poison one with 5 damage counters
Frostlass Pidove is also extremely good, it’s a consistent way to evolve them and punish ability heavy decks at the same time. Have taken out many meta decks with it
I took this and added bloodmoon ursaluna and that final 240 is nasty, highly recommend

Ive been cooking Hisuian Samurott Vstar with munkidori, though i think this deck may just be better. Its posted in the discord btw, if anyone wants to help improve it.
I was brainstorming arcanine/munkidoiri for awhile before the set dropped and not once thought of munikdori, this deck is sick (I want to try it with dodrio)

After watching this I tried it on ptcgl, for few game my insights: very strong against control mill, weak against iron hand
1 hitting iron hands doesn’t seem like it would be weak
This is neat.
A month later, I genuinely think FAM is the best way to play Froslass. Many ways to do so, but Arcanine covers so many weaknesses.
why not using cramorant & lost sweeper & colress to change the hisuian?

I'd tech in gape jaw bog instead of artazon maybe, i see you swinging for 30 early on instead of being able to hit 120 right off the rip
It's really hard to get monkis down without artazon. I've cited one for manaphy and I'm considering putting it back

Are the non-SV cards replaceable? I'm planning to restart PTCG (haven't played since the early SM format) with my friends in a SV-on format and this seems like a good pickup.
Most are draw supporters, so replaceable with somewhat less effective cards, but certainly playable in that format. Hassel might be a good colress replacement. There's a hisuian growlithe in the new set with a worse attack, but can replace the singe growlithe here.

I think you should take out 1 switch for a TM Evo. And take out the colress for arven. You have more tools in there. I'm playing the deck like that and evo going second with 2 frolass and just start donking them the turn after. I also took out the clefa for a rad alakazam. I'm running 1 judge instead of the 4th Iscan as well.

Have you considered a poison deck with the new scolipede from twilight masquerade?
The scolipede is really bad because it's a stage 2 that does the same thing that a stage 1 (Alola raticate) does even tho it's 1 energy compared to 3 it isn't worth it. Super incosistent deck and having to find brute bonnet/capsule besides the rare candy is just not good.
Froslass EX is way better because you can evolve with irida grabbing rare candy frolass and sweep with stage 1 braviary

This is a fun deck I can build with my "trash" from my Twilight Masquerade ETB and Battle and Build. The only problem I see in this deck is Jirachi.
Jirachi and manaphy dont block abilities, which is what froslass and munki do their damage with
Sucks that the deck can't get the damage counters on the board sooner.

Edit: I got the Froslass boys and girls let's go! Deck list being put together below (just look for my deck list comment it shouldn't get buried.) Rough draft I will be testing it tomorrow and fix it here and there as we go.

this deck is fun but it just takes too long to set up. froslass ability wont happen till the end of turn two so you cant even hit for 120 till turn 3 :(
Yeah you can put a Manaphy in but then you have to move damage off of it every turn or it dies lol. And if you move damage off manaphy then your Munki dies. Cool deck but there is not good answer to bench snipers
The solution to that problem is just 2+ Munkidoris and 1 Frostlass.
Every round Frostlass does 20 to all benched Pokémon. Dealing 60 in bench damage allowing you to deal move 60 and still have damaged mons as long as you rotate it properly.
Frosslass ability should self damage???

23:23 so Dragapult just made a few big misplays. Munkidori moves up to 3 dmg counter from ONE of you pokemon. They should have spread the damage so that you don't get the ko. Against a knowledged player, this matchup WOULD be unwinnable.
also, it was unwinnable anyway. Timestamp is a little wrong, a bit earlier starts the drag mislpays
