Alot of work involved very interesting
Brilliant that Jamie. Really enjoy this side of fishing. Keep them coming
Thanks Jason!
interesting to see thankyou.
Well done Jamie always interesting to see lake's being dug out, shame it wasn't a longer video, i will have to wait and see the next one, Thank you Jamie,
Thanks James I'll make future ones longer ;)
Great insight Jamie does give you an eye opening view of what is truly involved in managing a fishery top man
Thanks Jeff mate!
Great to see how its all done and what fish can really do over time on them banks!
Thanks Dave!
It’s surprising just how far a bank can get so under cut and good to see the lake empty and been worked on so when the fishing starts again on that lake you’ve got pretty much good idea of the depth and features.Great video Jamie
Yes it is Kevin and I'll be showing the sculptured banks when their finished for you mate :)
@@CatchFishingChannel Cheers mate
Love this, absolutely amazing to see the effort and love that goes into great fisheries! Cracking stuff Jamie! 👏👏👏
Really interesting. Good to see how it's done and appreciate now just how much effort and costs go into it. Thank you
Thank you!
Cheers Jamie definitely interesting to see how these guys work on their fisheries
I fished strip about 20 times and never even thought about how undercut it was. That's going to be a great lake once finished.
Me too!
Always interesting to see, cheers!
Thank you!
A great insight into how a lake is drained of fish, then cleared of silt and mud and then re-sculptured into a fishing lake again. Thanks again Jamie for these videos 👍
Thanks Michael mate!
Great video Jamie 👌
Thanks again Tom mate! :)
Brilliant video mate thanks, I have been watching some of your old videos, especially the groundbait testing ones, absolutely fantastic, would love for you too make some more videos on the newer groundbaits, keep up the great work mate thanks and tight lines mark
Oh thanks Mark and a few people have asked about those groundbait videos so I'll get some put together mate :)
@@CatchFishingChannel ok brilliant I will look forward too watching them tight lines mate thanks
Great video. Well done Jamie
Thank you!
Fantastic video
Thank you!
It will need limeing aswell
The mug must have been Matty Pillays 😂😂
Watched both of the videos jamie some very good coverage and well explained was there any eels in the lake like in bonsia
Thanks Jamie, it’s unbelievable how the lake is built, on a separate note obviously I can see your Vlogging and do you have a microphone connected? Later this year we are going to Florida for two weeks and we are going to try and vlog our trip, it’s something wife and I want to do, for any of our holidays, great vlog mate
Thanks Richard! Yes I had o use a wireless microphone on this video because the wind was terrible!
@@CatchFishingChannel thanks Jamie I am really enjoying your vlogs of the lake and look forward to seeing it completed 📸🎣
Hi Jamie I have just watched your video on digging the lake, my question is how do they stop the water from draining when work is done and lake filled. On canals they line with clay but no mention here. Thank you for these wonderful videos .
Thanks John I think they are down to clay now in this video so the clay is helping to keep the water out, if not they will get the pumps in to pump it out mate :)
Great informative video I'm sure half of that gear was mine 😂
Hahaha
Brilliant video as always Jamie, when they say restock the lake is this fresh new fish or fish from the complex?
Thanks Gaz! I think it will be from other stock lakes on site mate
Is the lake stream fed? Just curious where all of the silt has come from.
It amazes me how fisherys make it pay
I agree Jason mate!
The anglers pay a fair few quid to fish commercials, that's where the money comes from.
I'm not complaining though, the quality of fishing is incredible, but not everyone's cup of tea.
Did u find my feeders? They’ve got Preston on the bottom of ‘em👍
Hahaha errr no I didn't unfortunately mate :(
Do the bank sides have to be lined with clay once the re modelling has been done?
I’m not sure in this case but I’ll find out for the next video for you 👍
the owner wants to put the same effort into fixing the roads/tracks around the venue.
Can you put my brolly in the hut please😅
Hahaha is it really yours Reg??!! ;)
Any big Eels in there.
I didn't see or hear of any in that lake Arron
Cheers
Why has so much silt built up just 20 years, most lakes date back to the ice age
Where does the money come from to support this project ?
Just funded by the fishery owners :)
👍👍🎣🎣👍👍
Since when is 20 years an old lake.
Most lakes were created during the last ice age, so about 2.6 million years ago
👍👍🎣🎣👍👍
