Different Hat Sizing Systems - How Do They Work

Here at American Hat Makers, every hat has a way that you can adjust the size and make your hat a little smaller if you need it.
Why would you need it to be adjustable...you get a haircut, you want to wear a bandana/head scarf under your hat, you like to do french braids a lot, you're in between sizes...all of these reasons, you took into consideration before you got a hat and ordered it the next size up. Heck, maybe you just like a looser fitting hat and need it to stay in place...or maybe you like to wear your hat at different angles (down and around the top of your ears or tipped up a little more on the back of your head).
The list can go on and we've thought about those variables over the last 50 years, this is why our dad created the original velcro sweatband system that is still in a large percent of our hats today.
NOT EVERY HEAD IS SHAPED THE SAME. Period!
