My grandma was a Cubs fan for 90 years and watched Cubs win a WS and passed away a year later. I as a Cards fan rooted for Cubs so my mom and grandma could atleast see one, now I'll never root for them again

To be fair, this was originally broadcasted on Canadian TV and was meant to show hockey as a national game in Canada. Ken Burns' Baseball mini-series didn't talk about Canadian franchises much and didn't even discuss at length baseball's popularity in East Asia and Latin America.

If the NHL hadn’t expanded to all the great cities in the US after the original 4 here and offered all the great Canadian players places to play at the highest professional level, Canadian hockey would have been left in the dust. You look at the strike shortened years and where the players mostly decided to play to keep active, it sure wasn’t Canada. You all owe the US a huge debt for fueling the engine that made the NHL by far the worlds greatest hockey league. It.only continues to be “your game” because we in the US have made that possible! If it wasn’t for the USA forming the backbone of the business of NHL hockey Canadian hockey becomes English soccer, the world passes by the country that invented the game. Don’t ever under appreciate one of the pillars of Canada’s continued hockey dominance, its popularity south of the border. Without Philly and St Louis and Nashville and Columbus and all the others where do all the top Canadians go to play? Kitchener and Hamilton and Regina?? WHA isn’t coming back and failed for a reason.

It has NOTHING to do with political correctness. This isn't a documentary about LGBT, it's a documentary about hockey in CANADA. Women's hockey is a thing here and it's not stopping anytime soon. USA has a good women's team as well. They usually get silver in the Olympics. This isn't an NHL documentary.

I got a table top hockey game for Christmas when I was 9. Never got to play it that Christmas as my Dad and Uncle played it all day great memories.
