    • @findingnae
      @findingnae Před 7 měsíci

      @@xxxyyy7317 hi! the scar is so minimal, you can hardly see it, the incisions were also very small. overall the dressing stayed in place for about 2 days and sutures were in for 14 days. iodine helps to keep the area clean during that time. no time off of work for recovery and the healing process was very smooth and painless!
      this was just my personal experience, obviously everyone’s medical needs/experiences vary. i hope this helps!

      I just figured out I have one, I would stay away from the open surgery if possible. The wound healing process is much longer with the other open surgery options; and I’ve heard horror stories about multiple recurrences with those methods. I’d rather get this or just deal with it, thats better than having multiple surgeries with weeks of painful post op recovery.

    • @aidas2136
      @aidas2136 Před rokem +7

      @@eliwilliams4686 well i’m here to tell my story I’ve had 3 surgeries so far only because of the surgeons. I started having major pain issues while sitting so I decided to go to a surgeon. First I had an incision then it healed in about 2 weeks. Another 1-2 weeks passed and it started hurting again so this time I went to a different hospital. There I was told that it might’ve reoccurred because the incision cut was too small to get it all out and then the surgeon did an incision but a bigger one and cut out a little piece of my skin and put a bandage in it so i basically had an open wound for all the pus to eventually drain. Then I had to show up everyday to my local surgeon to change bandages everyday and she said that everything looks perfect they did a good cut. Time passed it didn’t even finish healing when I felt the pain while sitting again. I went to my local surgeon again and she said that is it you need an excision surgery. That same day I went for the surgery. Turns out i had a big hair follicle deep down inside my skin and had it removed sutured. Post surgery symptoms were horrible but I recovered and now I know for sure that it won’t be reoccurring again because the problem is gone. I don’t know why other people are saying that half of their butts are gone because I had a really big one and it was really deep. Maybe because some people wait too long and it expands sideways maybe because of that. Also laser surgery is only good in really early stages when it’s only started to develop

    • @kaylamarie9948
      @kaylamarie9948 Před rokem +2

      I've had both done. Definitely do the surgery if you are able. Pain was the equivalent of having the cyst, so it's nothing you haven't felt. Recovery for me was about 2-3 weeks. I have a small scar (about 3 inches, but to be fair, i was told my cyst was abnormally large so that may be why) but id rather have that than the pain from the cyst. I had my surgery 8 years ago and have not had one problem since. Getting it cut (lanced), there's always risk of it coming back, which varies from person to person. It could be 2 weeks or 12 years. With surgery, there's peace of mind that it definitely won't be back. If you can't do surgery, then at least get it cut and hope you fall into that "12 years" category.
