Pokémon Run & Bun is at it's core a difficulty hack of Emerald, created by dekzeh. It is hard.
Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch the first Pokémon I find on each Route.
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)
6. Play on "Set" battle mode
Extra Rules:
7. EVs are turned OFF

Also the way i typically do double battles in run and bun is lead with a pre-damaged protect mon. 1st turn protect 2nd turn switch to shell armour mon (I usually use torterra) and then take garanteed damage and bait fast kills on torterra for turn 3 while another mon is picking up KOs. Usually much safer this way.
