- In this video I show and compare all Formula cars in history of Gran Turismo, from GT3-GT Sport also including the PSP version.
All footage recorded from original PS2, PS3 and PS4 hardware (no emulators etc.) with regular copies of GT3, GT3, GT4, GT5, GT6 and GT Sport. Recorded with Elgato HD60.
GTPSP recorded with OBS and Emulator on PC.

Wow the transition from gt3 to gt4 really shows the difference in sense of speed
It goes from slow turtle snail combination to the fastsest car in the world
@@milesribouturruella411 for me it's the opposite, gt4 feels like the world's moving around you rather than you zooming through it.

But when you look at the actual speed the cars are going, they are pretty similar. It is more the sense of speed that changed not so the actual cars speed.
Sense of speed from forza motorsport 3 to 4 made a huge difference which carried over to horizon franchise
Many of the cars in the 3rd game are based off of Senna's cars and they're all one way or another based off of an actual car from a specific year

@Your average Hard rock enjoyer the F686/M and the F094/H in the NTSC version are based off of cars Mansell and Hill drove, the 1986 Williams FW11 and the 1994 Williams FW16B.

The 4cyl Lotus at 25:00 sounds so good omg. Those downshifts and the rev limiter are lovely

The Ferrari F10 and the Ferrari F2007 was supposed to appear in Gran Turismo 6 as well, but they were unfortunately taken out from the game.
I hope we could expect the 2007 Ferrari as an upcoming update car, the Lewis Hamilton mercedes would be sick too! It's sad we're actually not getting any late 90s F1 cars like the MP4/13 or the FW17 Williams.

They really need to bring back the old GT Formula cars, we just need a late 90’s, early 90’s and 70’s style cars added to GT7

F094/s-sennas williams-f094/h is damon hills Williams after Imola, easily my favorite cars in the gran turismo series
Some of the F1 cars in GT3 are briefly sluggish after switching gears. Additionally, anyone notice that the f090/S, F094/H and F094/S sound like the GT-ONE but with higher RPM?
They are sluggish bc turbo lag

Using the F1's and F1 racing is the best way to play and enjoy playing Gran Turismo!
Ferrrari F2007 is my favourite, then Formula GT, then the F686.

@@stormdesertstrike it didn’t take them long to get the 2017 car in and they modeled the SF car. They can simply take that SF car and modify it from there. I’m sure they have the resources to as Hamilton is SPONSORED by GT by they choose not to

The F3 car was load of fun on GT6, but my number 1 is the classic FGT especially in the fresh new liveries they gave it for GT6. The Ferrari's suck because they cost 22.5 million to buy but we aren't allowed to use them in anything. Why even bother including them? However, we can use their sacred FXX in any event for its PP level even though real life FXX owners aren't even allowed to use their car wherever they please, nor can they actually keep it in their own garage.
You joke. But the gran turismo 3 had predicted the turbo engine at the modern f1. 🤣🤣🤣
How did you work that out? The turbo F1 cars in GT3 are based on cars from 1986, 1987 and 1988. Before turbos were banned initially.

you only had 2 f1 cars in the pal version known as polyphony 001 or 002. but in the ntsc usa and japan versions, there were many f1 cars.
Tbh it's kinda weird considering that F1's main audience back then was and probably still is in the PAL region.
I Used the formula gran turismo so much in gt4 that it had more than 200k kilometers on it, i had to win a second one to even race at the fgt cup because my original was was way slower than the others

I can't remember which game exactly. It was a snow day with school called off at 6am. It's probably late elementary. I think it was GT3, I was excited to show my friend a new speed glitch I found ramping the indy car up to 6 or 700 mph.
Amazing video well done I love this so much. I love that GT3 had different engine sounds to every formula car. I wish GT7 will have more formula cars too!
Edit: wow vacuum noises gt3, gt4 stepped it up but it sounded like the Sauber Merc. Gt5 is better and of course gt sport is perfection with the two super formula
I don't remember the Formula GT in GT4 being that freaking fast... Unless you were playing on arcade mode with the sliders set at +20% horsepower and -20% weight...

The Formula One racing and Formula One gameplay in Gran Turismo 3 is the best F1 racing gameplay ever! The F1 racing and gameplay is much better than in Gran Turismo 4 onwards!
How on Earth's name are you able to modulate the gas on GTPSP?
On the PSP Go, you could pair a PS3 controller with Bluetooth, so maybe he is recording the footage from the PSP Go

Well, I prefer most the F2007 in GTPSP than the FGT. Because the FGT looks like better in GT4, GT5 & GT6 both by handling and speed. My opinion*.

F687/S and Lotus are the same car
F687s = Lotus 99T
The letter after the name of the F1 cars in GT3 is a real driver's surname initial. F686/Mansell, F687/Senna, F688/Senna, F090/Senna, F094/Senna and F094/Hill. Incidentally, the F090/S is absent here. You may've forgotten to put it in the video zocker

0:01-I see. There are no Formula One cars in Gran Turismo 1 and 2.
There were cars that were close spec-wise: GT1 had the Concept Car LM, which had a crazy 590kg and about 560HP. GT2 had the Renault Espace F1, which was a racing minivan concept powered by their current F1 engine at the time.

It definitely is. The modern cars can do 0-100 in 2 second and 0-200 in 4.5

NOTE: Hidden in the files of GT3 is an actual mercedes F1 car, with the original livrery and alternate color schemes (weird ones).
You mean the Mclaren Mercedes MP4/13? That is theorized to have just been a testbed for the F1 cars added. Some theorize they wanted to add the real MP4/13 but did not get the thumbs up from Mclaren. It would've alo bumped up the games rating to T or possibly even M, as that would've meant Tobacco sponsorship appeared in game. Tobacco sponsorship appears in GT2 which is why it has it's T rating but it's the censored version of the sponsorship in that game. The Mclaren model in GT3 has WEST on it rather than DAVID and MIKA as was usual for races in tobacco sponsorship banned countries
F1 cars are the fastest cars in Gran Turismo 3! No matter how much you upgrade a normal car or a race car, non F1 cars can never keep up with Formula One cars!
Feel like 22 is abit of an exaggeration. You count the Formula GT car 4 times when its just the same car in 4 different games and likewise do the same with the Ferrari F2007 even though its the same car across the 3 games it appears in. Why? Just feels disingenuous and comes off as simply an effort to pad a numbered list when its not necessary. Also, why is the Lotus 97T from the Senna content in GT6 not included? That technically makes it only 16 Open wheel/Formula cars spanning from GT3-GT Sport (and now GT7 with the F500T-A and Super Formula cars returning so far).
*Edit* : It seems you did include the 97T now that I've watched the rest of the video so my mistake on that, but I still don't understand the need to count 2 cars multiple times when they were the same thing across the games they appeared in save for obvious graphical differences.
Red bull cars are futuristic formula cars, why they are not in this video?
They arent futuristic,they are a concept.And they would be impossible to drive because of the amount of gforce
