G-Locking fuel cap
I’ve had mine for three months and they are fantastic!!!
I just ordered a set of these for my 2019 f350 Sd plus the lock for the OBD port, as the saying goes, if someone wants it bad enough they’re going to get it. I look at this way, they can’t pour anything in and it makes it tougher taking fuel out. Thanks for bringing this product to light, keep up the great video content, always look forward to next video.
I think I like the idea about keeping people from just pouring whatever in to your tank just to be goofy

Ordered from BEM the locking cap for my 2021 Wrangler EcoDiesel. BEM wasn't sure if the Ram EcoDiesel or the Wrangler gas version cap was right so they sent me both while only charging for one. I highly recommend this company and product.

Not only theft also stopping some a hole from contaminating either or both of your tanks. I put locking caps on both as soon as I got my 2011 6.7 250 that would be a very expensive bill

I bought a locking gas cap because some asshole thought it would be funny to pour gas in my fuel tank. I worked in Berkeley CA for a little bit so I wouldn't be surprised if someone who hated diesels thought it would be funny to do this. The total cost from ford to fix my truck was $11,000. Lucky for me my insurance covered me for vandalism. I just need to buy a locking DEF cap now to be safe.

Recently there was a local guy who got busted for stealing fuel from construction equipment and trucks. He was using a transfer pump and a large empty tank in the bed of his truck and he would drain some fuel from various vehicles. The company eventually realized it and had the cops sit on the property overnight. The guy was driving a new F350. This cap might be “expensive “ to some but seems like cheap insurance.

@Tristan no doubt. Any lock can be defeated. I believe locks serve 2 functions. First they keep and honest man honest and second they deter scum bags. Thieves want a quick hitter and typically will pass a tougher score.
Well let me tell you, I stopped at a truck stop and fueled up with diesel and drove about 3 hours before pulling into an RV campground off the main highway for the night. The next morning I woke up and drove about an hour and my 2020 F-350 went into limp mode. Long story short, there was gasoline in my tank. It wasn't me, I always stop at truck stops, especially when pulling a 45 foot 5th wheel. I contacted the service station where I fueled up and had the state regulatory involved and they didn't have any issues, so the only thing I could think of was vandalism possibly. Entire fuel system had to be replaced which was $15,000 and insurance would not cover it, (USAA). Thankfully I was able to sell it to the dealer and come out in the clear with the truck. They bought the truck from me for $70K and fixed it then sold it for $93K. I may be overreacting but I don't want to take any chances again so I just bought these caps, I just got a 2022, so I want to rule out any vandalism.
Hard to believe insurance wouldn't cover that. I'd have called my attorney.
Also - find a new insurance company.

@Tristan any product can be defeated given enough time. Trailer locks, car locks etc. But when someone trying to steal your stuff has to take time to do it they mostly move on.. more time they try to do something greater chance of getting caught. But in the end it’s my money but thanks

I had a locking fuel cap and thought I was doing all the good. A buddy and I were working on the truck truck and just happen to be using a drill. He made an off hand joke about just drilling the tank to get the fuel. About 5 seconds later, the OEM cap was back on. The can take the fuel, that’s way cheaper than a new tank.

Great product. Would love something like that for a 2019 f350. On concern I have is I have the 55 gallon tank from s&b with the plug they could just remove...
That plug actually has to be drilled out so you can pull that out right now and nothing will come out until you drill the hole

I’ve had a locking cap on all my vehicles from the start.
I like it nit only for the fuel theft prevention…but it also acts as a good solid defense of someone wanting to contaminate your diesel with water/def in hopes they grenade your CP4 and consequently your entire fuel system

It appears you could swap the tether over to the BEM cap fuel cap as well. I'd hate to buy one only to drop it on the ground and f it up! You try that PTT?

I do, u can email us.
Empty the tank through the water separator drain. May take a minute, a jug a hose and very little mess.
If you catch them doing this, add some special additive to the canister to help boost their diesel.

Better let them steal fuel rather then get your tank drilled. Someone have drilled a hole in my fuel tank couple months ago and it cost waaaayyy more to replace a fuel tank

I have a 2011 lariat 6.7 I ordered new and got a locking fuel cap a month later. It's keyed, there are 27 keys according to the manufacturer. This one key, what stops the hoods from buying this unit and now they have access?

Does anyone know if the 2017 f350 turbo diesel has the same fuel and def cap as the 21-22 model. I'm in Canada and don't want to order them if they don't fit my year, the shipping and return would cost too much, they say 22 year model year but are they not all the same. on 2017- 2022

Won't a big pair of channel locks spin it right off, damaging the filler neck? Pick your poison.
And, spinning the key on a keyring looks like it's going to be a pain.

We’ve never sold the Ford diesel cap for $65, or the Ford set for $100. Back in 2019 we sold product for the capless Ram trucks for that pricing, but that pricing is now obsolete.
Everyone is going to end up having the key for those,unless they key them all differently no point..

Well the problem is that most thieves are not going to think to buy several gas cap keys just in case the owner has one on, they are thinking it's an easy target since the ford doesn't have a lock on them and I can't see a thief wanting to spend $170 on the caps when they just could have purchased diesel and move on. 😂
