I bought a LA102 in .223 here in UK I've zeroed at 50 and this Sunday I'm taking it out to 100 I really can't wait, I love the fit and finish of the rifle, just pure quality
How good mate they are a great rifle
I've had my Lithgow .223 for 2 months now and have been testing factory ammo @100, 300 and 500 yards. The ADI 55grn shot well at longer range maybe 8 inch 10 shot grp, the 69grn BTHP weren't as good but the Federal GMM 69grn were unbelievable! They shot under 5" @500 yards, in cold and windy (10 mph) conditions and barrel temp made NO difference from cold bore to the last shot....everyone at the range was impressed...
I was never a fan of the plastic stocks on the lithgows, so when I bought mine I got it with a laminate stock. It's bloody heavy but I love it, great rifle.
At the time when they 1st came out i had a hard enough time gettin this one a mate had the laminate in the 308 looked awsome. Aint they bloody good rifles
@@TRAV30387 I bought mine about a year after the barrel recall and even after all that time I still had to wait a while for it to come in. The only "issue" I've had with mine chambered in .223 was that it took a while to run the barrel in. I had to put about 150 rounds through it before the gun started to group well, I've now put about 400 rounds through my rifle and almost all ammo brands work well in it, even PPU will group just under an inch
Just order one , same colour and stock ! Can’t wait.

Got my LA102 a while ago now . 10 rds ADI match king at 100 yards into a 20 cent piece group. I’m happy with that’ 😅

Not bad.
Not that your shooting bad but adding a grippier surface for the bipod will allow you to keep the target within the scope after the shot has been taken and also allow you to load up the bipod for a rock steady hold.
Isn’t it funny mate I have LA102 and meopro 4-12x50 z-plex in the laminate titanium. Also run the Sierra blitzkings factory rounds and I reload for it too with BM2, 24.5gr with 55gr VMAX or 55gr blitzkings, however sierras are a bit dearer so buy bulk VMAX’s from cleavers to keep the price down. Glad I found the same charge as you wasn’t just a fluke, they certainly do the job on the foxes, absolutely poleaxes em. I have found that some of my reloads do throw them left on occasion though, not sure if it’s a parallax issue when I get a bit tired of shooting groups. Run Winnie primers but my local store only sell CCI so I’ll give them a crack next batch. Have found my firing pin punching through a couple slightly so see if the CCI’s alleviate that! Isn't it what mate yeah im running 24.6grns may aswell be the same and they say the vmaxx and zmaxx are the same pill just different coloured tips ill have to find out when my zombie pills run out.... ive ran cci primmers from day 1 and they have just worked even on the 303... The lill 223 definitely peels the ol fox apart with the zmaxx. Cheers for the comment mate enjoy ya day.
@@TRAV30387 yeah from what I understand they are the same prodgie, get the vmax’s for about 25c a go if you buy them in bulk mate makes for very economical shooting. The blitzkings are a little easier to deal with being a boat tail but a quick chamfer of the neck and those vmax pills seat beautifully too. Do you run the ADI brass mate? I find I have to trim the brass a bit but still have reasonable case life out of them.
Ahh thats what I've heard aswell i do run all my brass from the factory adi cases some cased have had 5+ loads thru them i neck size only tho heaps better case life be 4 i got the bew barrel done i had some ppu case's run over 20+ times no issues due to neck sizing only less stress on them and yep definitely shamfer after every couple loads makes a difference when pulling the press handle
Loosen your bi-pod a little, mate. so you can rock it back and forward. It’ll bounce less on recoil and stay on target better.

Hey mate cheers that they are lasers. I have mate i just dont use that pill anymore i prefer ballistics now i believe it was the exact same load and shot well

...have you tried changing the torque in the stockbolts? Manual says 3.5Nm for my laminate stock but I've found that 3.0 & 37.5 Nm seem to really tighten up the groups?...

...if you do separate the action and the stock watch out for the rear nut as its loose and slides into a dovetail slot! I just bought some Sako 69grn racehead as there's no Federal GMM in the UK until June and it's gonna be ££££!

...does anyone know the length of the ADI 55grn Blitzking ammo? I'm reloading and the factory ammo shot really well but I didn't measure them!! I'm loading 69grn SMKs to 2.250" which works well...

Im running max length with hornandy 55grn z maxx 24.6 grn bm2 with cci primers its a hole puncher
