I get it, my sense of fair play offends those who are skill deficient / lack it completely and can only compete with op/bugged creatures, but that's an issue for those who think such to gain a little retrospection and maybe try earning some accolades instead of there being zero achievement in their gameplay.
Fact is there are zero players who are below shores with this year's releases unless they are actively staying there out of choice (my 6yo niece could get to shores with them just randomly slapping at the screen), and as such that is, objectively, both cheating AND against Ludia's terms of use (as by all accounts is any use of bugged / op characters thanks to their catch-all 'loophole in gameplay' caveat). This is supposed to be a game of collection plus skill/strategy - the latter has always lacked balance due to Ludia ignoring the 90% of their playerbase that have been demanding arena caps for rarity/level/boosting, stat caps that prevent boosting past one classifications statistical norm to another's, etc for over 5yrs now (as you'd know if you were on the now defunct ludia forums), however now JWA has turned into a pure cash grab with one op creature after another targeted at 1% of the playerbase (that the game would be better off without) to the detriment of the REAL gamers - a surefire sign they'll be winding the game down before long and are simply rinsing the rubes for all they are worth in the interim - hence why they aren't bothered that the game is hemorrhaging players hand over fist and has been for months. You might be OK with (or even condone) such toxic players, I'm not, but then I was bought up by parents who instilled hard-core morals and integrity into me, alongside a philosophy that unearned achievement is no achievement.
And for the record, my op was a general assertion, not person specific. That said, one of my bugbears with JWA posters, particularly the 'official ones' (that is, aside from me proving one of them spoofs 18mths ago), is the whole "isn't this wonderful, isn't everything sunshine and unicorns' nonsense that gets posted - it'd be nice if just one of you engaged some critical thinking and called out Ludia's (particularly over the last year) complete disregard for its playerbase, inability to fix the myriad of issues that have now existed for months with no end in sight, etc. rather than seemingly helping facilitate Ludia's increasingly 'bait and switch' behaviour.
