A little bit about us:
Ernesto and Christina met on catholicmatch.com and got engaged 6 months later. Ernesto moved from sunny L.A. to join Christina and her daughter Alyssa in Denver Colorado. They became a family on April 26th, 2008. As Alyssa got ready for college, Ernie & Christina started saving for a house and planning for the future. The way any young couple would. Alyssa moved to Arizona and for awhile everything seemed on track. Then on Christmas day 2010 after midnight mass Christina found a lump in her right breast. She knew right away it was cancer. She was so young (36 at the time) the doctors were not so sure. It was cancer. Triple Negative breast cancer to be exact. She tried ALTERNATIVE treatments for 11 months only to have to tumor return twice and ultimately had to submit to conventional treatments. She did chemo, radiation & surgery. Unfortunately after all that the cancer returned in the summer of 2013. The story doesn't end there though! In the middle of all that Ernie & Christina had a surprise baby. In April of 2013 Christina found out she was seven months pregnant. She had no idea! All the side effects she was having her doctor said was b/c of the cancer treatments. Christina delivered a very healthy miracle baby girl on May 5th 2013. Despite all of the toxic drugs she was exposed to she is fine. Very healthy. Baby Ava has brought light to a dark situation. We hope you will draw inspiration from our story and how we choose to live life to the fullest despite a terminal cancer diagnoses!

I praying that you'll receive that miracle too. Love how open your are about your faith. Love when your sister thanked Jesus despite what she just endured. She has a beautiful spirit. God bless your mom holding up so well watching her daughter's endure what you guys are going through. I pray continual strength and God's grace for your mom...and all of you really.

Still thinking of your sister, it was nice to see her, and I hope she eventually feels comfort as she heals and gains her strength. I have read about the study, and I did a bit of research on your oncologist last evening, and I am very hopeful that this is something that may be the answer to our prayers! That is awesome that another of her local patients is doing so well!! It did my heart good to see you both so happy; we all needed it after the 'ups and downs' of late, eh?!! Aaaaaavvvvaaaaaa!!!!! So cute! The wave & the clap. Alyssa's energy was hilarious. I love that you kept all of her part in!! So today's the day.. Your first series of injections!!! Do they use your port or do they just inject it in your thigh?? That sushi looked damn good. I dare Ernie to take a big spoonful of the wasabi! Love you all. Xoxo

It's great to see you feeling better! I feel your excitement,kind of like a Christmas morning feeling. I had you guys on my mind last night before going to sleep,saying many prayers for you and family.I had a dream that Ava was grown and you and Ernie were taking her to school to start her 1st yr of college.As you all got out of the car you reached in and came out with a baby who looked to be about the age Ava is now. It was a little boy. All of you started walking away going towards the school. In my dream I was saying "Christina why didn't you tell me that you had had another baby?" You started laughing. That's where my dream stopped. You're probably thinking 'who is this crazy woman commenting on my vlogs?' The dream seemed so real. I just had to tell you. :-) Ok, I've rambled on long enough. Looking forward to tomorrows vlog...
Well I'm so happy that you didn't have a bad reaction to the vaccine. That I believe, is the start of something extremely good to come! I strongly believe this will work wonders to rid you of this miserable cancer. How overwhelmingly exciting would that even be???!!! :D
