A little bit about us:
Ernesto and Christina met on catholicmatch.com and got engaged 6 months later. Ernesto moved from sunny L.A. to join Christina and her daughter Alyssa in Denver Colorado. They became a family on April 26th, 2008. As Alyssa got ready for college, Ernie & Christina started saving for a house and planning for the future. The way any young couple would. Alyssa moved to Arizona and for awhile everything seemed on track. Then on Christmas day 2010 after midnight mass Christina found a lump in her right breast. She knew right away it was cancer. She was so young (36 at the time) the doctors were not so sure. It was cancer. Triple Negative breast cancer to be exact. She tried ALTERNATIVE treatments for 11 months only to have to tumor return twice and ultimately had to submit to conventional treatments. She did chemo, radiation & surgery. Unfortunately after all that the cancer returned in the summer of 2013. The story doesn't end there though! In the middle of all that Ernie & Christina had a surprise baby. In April of 2013 Christina found out she was seven months pregnant. She had no idea! All the side effects she was having her doctor said was b/c of the cancer treatments. Christina delivered a very healthy miracle baby girl on May 5th 2013. Despite all of the toxic drugs she was exposed to she is fine. Very healthy. Baby Ava has brought light to a dark situation. We hope you will draw inspiration from our story and how we choose to live life to the fullest despite a terminal cancer diagnoses!! • Ernies vloggy PART 2 !...

Ernies interaction with Ava is always so adorable. Something about a daddy and his daughter. Too rare these days to find a real husband or father! Ernie I hope you know your doing a great job. I'm sure it's easy to forget yourself when taking care of such beautiful girls :) but don't forget yourself. They need you so you have to take time to take care of yourself! Not just eating rite either, I hope you find out have found a way to help you deal with all you have on your shoulders. You've got the weight of the world on your shoulders. I'm sure you feel squished under it sometimes, but we see you!
I had a feeling that the pain had been there all along and you are just now able to feel everything again and then you said that!! I hope that is the case. I love the way Ava scoots everywhere. And the block on the camera made me laugh. Hang in there Christina. You look better each day. Love you & the family. Xo

Little Ava is so cute walking around on her knees, I wonder if her little knees get sore.lol I sure hope you start feeling better again soon and your pain starts to go away. Hang in there Ernie, your a great husband and dad.

Hope you are feeling better today! Your pain medication is probably irritating your stomach. Have you been eating your oatmeal in the morning? I remember you said that helped you. Ava's stacking blocks like a pro! She'd get along real good over here haha.
I have chronic back pain, if it's that ice packs are a god send, I refused n used heat but gave in to ice nits been amazing.i use diclofenac which is super ibuprofen, I'd doesn't get rid of pain at all for chronic back pain just the inflammation, I have codein or cocodamol which works for the pain. Hope you don't mind me saying that, I have difficulty walking unless I have neuropathic drugs (pregabalin ) but if it's not regular back pain sorry for the advice lol. Feel better xx
Christina. The tummy pain sounds like ulcer not cancer. I've had many ulcers that started a couple years after having to take pain meds like ibuprofen. Can you try some prilosec OtC for a week or so and see if hepls
It's cute how Ava walks on her knees! She's making milestones with the block stacking. I wonder if the vaccines are giving a side effect causing irritation to your stomach and/or your back? Did you have this before the vaccines? Ibuprofen and pain medications can also cause pain or irritate the stomach.
