Brilliant vid ! Got some sandys on the way to Chuck at the Scottish sea trout soon.
Interesting how the seatrouts behave different in different parts of the world. Here in the middle of sweden I have noticed that the seatrout can be very different sizes in the scools, i have cought both baby trouts and 2kg+ in the same scool many times.
But these really big ones usually run in 2 or 3 individuals.
Daniels first “trout” looks more like a small salmon if u look at the shape and color

since i got my sandy the weathers been awful and ive not got to use it but things are mild this weekend and ill be using my uv transparent ammo pattern for sure after this video

Very interesting, engaging and educational footage, thank you... can you tell me how you tie a thru-/in-line lure working back from hook, to lure, to leader and to your main line. Also, lots of Westin and other angling films from Denmark feature Seatrout as the target species,. Certainly you must catch other species when doing so... are there no Seabass for example?

You get hook and beads with the sandy lure. Put flourcarbon line around 0.25/0.35 through the bait, through 2 beads and tie the hook, then you take the last bead in front of the bait which protects the taft knot. Have fun fishing!

Hi. Check out our Sandy Inline or Salty Inline. They both work great with a simple retrieve (or when you fish them with short breaks) and cast very well. We also offer them in a lot of different colors so you can experiment a bit. They also come with a single hook in the correct size!
