Have you ever thought about what it was like to run a Bed & Breakfast? 84, year old Ms. Linda has been running her Grey Gables B&B for over 30 years now and we go behind the scenes to see just how much work goes on. Linda Starts her day about 6:30am and doesn’t stop until almost Midnight somedays. Linda has two cookbooks and both are sold out but she is working on getting them reprinted.

Miss Linda displays "The Fruit if the Spirit"! Just watching her decorum and how she interacts with everyone, confirms this over and over again. Very touching....Ms. Linda's story of the myrrh. I have a quick story. When my son was 5, he begged the sunday school teacher to be baby Jesus in the Christmas play. During the play, the minister asked the children of the congregation...."What were the 3 gifts the Wise Men gave baby Jesus?" 1 said gold. Another, frankincense. There was a pause, then baby Jesus sat up in the manger and said " myrrh!". The congregation roared in laughter. A cute memory....He's 24 now. Merry Christmas to everyone! Bath, Oh.

Here in Massachusetts we had a home that was called Grey Gables which was owned by President Grover Cleveland. The home was located on a small peninsula on the shore of the Cape Cod Canal in Bourne, Ma. After Cleveland passed away the home was turned into a hotel and restaurant. But it was totally destroyed by fire in 1973. The village were the home was located is still called Grey Gabless.

Ms Linda said she doesn't really dress a pretty plate,a weakness. Personally I prefer the way she does serving the plates!! Wouldn't want it any different!!!
Coconut aminos is the gluten, soy free substitute for soy sauce. I’d think if would be easy to find in a large grocer and also on Amazon

I make that salad and I find putting the dressing into a Mason jar and shaking, mixes really well. Beautiful place to stay.
