There is no Islamic ruling that forbids contact between an ex husband and wife. Yes, they become non-mahram to each other, but their parent-in-laws do stay mahram to them. This means that although he is divorced, his mother-in-law still stays mahram. And the same for the ex-wife as well.
It would be the best thing for ex-partners to stay civil and have good conduct towards each other. It does not need to be hostile and a battle. The ex might be uncomfortable in the presence of their ex, that is understandable, but it is not forbidden or haram to have common interaction, like between any other non-mahram, along with observing the correct shar'i boundaries as well.
There is adifference btw staying civil 4 ur kids sake nd acting this close nd frank with each other..it looks lije they r almst best buddies. Also that they romanced in name of acting nd did all that lovey dovey thingd..its jst messed up man! After divorce there should b sme distance btw the 2 ppl.
I think u r forgetting the fact that they both are in showbiz too. There are many things done for rating alone. I have watched this whole video and not even once they acted lovey dovey. Yes, they are quite friendly to each other but they had an intimate relation in past too and with time, the bitterness of divorce also lessons as people come to terms with reality of their unique situations and it clealy showz that they both have moved on from that initial bitterness. The fact that you or people like you are reading so much into their normal interactions says a lot about your own personal insecurities or complexes. They both are educated and are behaving within limits too. There is no need to call them out for something totally in line with societal norms. Divorce is not a death sentence. Let them be the adults that they are and decide for themselves. Moral brigade can take a back seat please. Islam does not forbid necessary interaction b/w exes, be it for kids or even ratings if thats their bread and butter
