    How do you relate to gravity? Although few are discussing this, at FP it's our primary concern. As I go further into my career, I am beginning to understand that our technology in many ways is the limiting factor in us finding adequate balance with our biomechanics. The Decompression tank will be another tool to help advance humans in ways not imagined before.
    What does it do? Watch the video to find out.

    • @functionalpatterns
      @functionalpatterns  Před 6 lety +3

      floating in water is much different than floating in air. Floating in air is much more localized when it comes to decompression. If the fascia releases on air decompression, it will happen superficially. That's not what we are aiming to do.

      @wendef umg The main problem of traction tables/machines is that before to start your body already had a defensive situations, some muscles tense and some other too much relaxed, etc... and when you start the traction they will increase the defensive situation. Even if traction machines use normal or state of the arts traction to overcome this problem the final results, at least with my back, are nothing or irrilevant or worse

    • @greenlablz
      @greenlablz Před 6 lety

    • @functionalpatterns
      @functionalpatterns  Před 6 lety +9

      water atmosphere is different than air atmosphere. the best thing you'll do on an inversion table is decompress your ankles. On top of that, you can only remain upside down for a short period of time. You can be in this thing for a while.

    Hi, Naudi. Just my opinion, but what if you also invented a neck pillow type of device that can float so one could wear it around your neck when in this tank? That way your neck muscles can relax and even provide decompression to the C spine while you float. Seems like the current way you have to keep holding your head up. Let me know what you think, take care.

Showing that on the video may increase your potential customers I guess.

      I have some floating tank as well as back lumbar problems. Yes, for sure, when I lay down vertically in bed or inside my floating tanks some muscles that connect to lumbar vertebrae are not relaxed, worse they become shorter and add pressure to my vertebral disks

    • @yourlocaltoad5102
      @yourlocaltoad5102 Před 3 lety +1

      Well, it’s water that’s saturated with Epsom salts and this leads to the water having a higher density than your body does.
      So your body will constantly be pulled up, which would work to counter gravity.

      Just look which components you have availiable in your area and within your budget and then research how to properly install them or ask someone with a bit more diy-experience for help.

    This dude rlly is ahead of the game in terms of rehab bcuz most ppl wait until in injury to rehab.
    He is one of few fitness professionals who realize AND spread the idea that rehabbing poor biomechanics and instituting structural integrity prior to any type of fancy movement or sports specific technique will actually prevent injury and also de stress the organism by creating more efficient movement.
