Hello, from San Antonio! :) Are you using black? What color green and yellow/gold are you using? I want to concentrate on painting seascapes and love the colors you use! Thank you. Lisa

Hi! I avoid using black, I mix my own with ultramarine blue and burnt sienna (about equal measures) green is mixed with variations of ultramarine blue/colbalt blue and cad yellow/yellow ochre and sometimes I even add a little pre mixed green like Sap green. Thank you! I did this in layers, focusing on my mid tones first then adding highlights and my darkest tones once each layer is dry! I’m in the process of designing my next painting, hopefully a seascape for CZcams :)

@@seanfear15 Good morning from San Antonio, Texas! First of all, I want to sincerely thank you for answering my questions. (I print out your emails and keep them at the desk where I doing my painting.) Honestly, I have asked other artists questions and they either don't reply, or their reply is that they don't like to share how they create their paintings, but I refuse to give up!!!! I'm looking forward to seeing your next painting!!!!! I look at your paintings every day, I study them. I zoom in to look at their detail. I really find peace in them. :) Also, what part of Greece do you live in? I have good friends who live in Macedonia. Thank you. Lisa

@lisajimenez3240 hello Texas! You are most welcome! However, I still like to think I’m learning and getting better. I don’t have it figured out, I may never will, but I enjoy learning and now, I enjoy helping people however I can. I’m going to be focusing on better quality content from now on and I can’t wait. I’m based in Athens :)

@@seanfear15 OH, ATHENS!!!!!!!!!!!! Be still my heart!! That is the city I want to visit most; but, sadly, I doubt I ever will. I have 4 rescue doggies from a litter I saved in 2015. They are 9 years old now and we have never been apart even for one night (except if someone was spending the night at the vet). What do you use to make pink? White and magenta just aren't cutting it for me. Thank you!
