One of the best tricks I've found is prioritizing getting "simple table cloth" tables. They can reduce the amount of food you need to make by half, including any sides!

@@stumptprice The downside is they're a bit tricky to fit in, especially on smaller maps, since the seats have to be on opposite sides and they cannot be combined. Still, I've found even just having 2 simple-cloth tables and as many coffee tables as I can squeeze in is way more manageable than a bunch of regular tables.
I love these! The farthest runs I’ve gotten on solo had these tables. Especially if you start getting bigger groups. So nice to only have to make one dish for the whole table.

I think it may have been better to stay in the kitchen instead of swapping to the dining floor. I believe the rooms are equally large (54 tiles each) and it would have prevented the issue with the door, as well as save them time having to walk all the way to the other side, improving throughput a little.

Yea after I finished the recording I face palmed when I realized I should have just reorganized inside the kitchen. Always learning!
As I understand it the metal tables that will be offered frequently in your franchise run allow you to ignore side orders, ie if all your tables are metal you don't need to make them at all. You do have to keep the ingredients somewhere in the restaurant so that the menu is viable. With this strat you can keep taking more and more sides which will reduce the number of customers without impacting your preferred method of only needing to cook one thing.
I really hope Price will eventually get to see a fully automated system where your only job is either taking orders, washing plates or standing around doing nothing. It's quite rewarding to get there, but it takes a lot of planning and strategizing and not something you can easily rng your way into

i've had *some* luck pushing past people if i try to go in front of them, between them and the table, but it's still salt inducing!!
The start day button was flashing the whole time during the fast forward reorganization bit, and it looked like it was dancing in time to the music😄
Next time when you play try "Racoon" as a seed. It's a mediumish map with a bigger serving area. I really like it and I think you would too! 😁
great run to come back to the series! i noticed that you could definitely make more use out of the starting plate stack, by adding them to the dish system at the beginning of the day. i think it would actually work pretty well esp when you have a wash basin/dish rack holding up extra dishes, so it wont overflow and you wont get backed up that easily.

Stop hoarding your items. You don't even need the dirty dish rack with a wash basin sitting right freaking there.
Allowing customers to order twice is actually really nice for burgers. IIRC, they're the cheapest thing you can serve and they really don't take that much time to make. So you saying "thank you for only ordering 1" like it's a good thing is stupid. Those people are costing you an extra $3 by not ordering a second one.
