How to get anxiety in one easy step
My spine tingled with uncertainty at the mere mention of what she said she'd do.
Lol yes
COLORFUL
I'd easily take on the challenge, and it would be fun!
Omg IKR!!! Set me off I actually squeaked out loud and my boyfriend was like what, I showed him and he says heeellll no lmao
This physically hurt me lol
There's always a moment in every puzzle-laying experience where you're 100% sure a piece is missing because you cannot find it anywhere. Until you find it, super obviously, right there staring back at you. :P
I was 10000% sure that edge piece was missing. And thenâŠ..it was literally right there
In my case, if it seems to be missing I really need to check my vacuum cleaner first.
When she recorded the missing piece, I could also see the other missing piece right there above it. XD So funny.
@@Bearleena this is my biggest fear when working a puzzle - that I accidentally vacuumed one up! I have found pieces on the floor while vacuuming but so far have not vacuumed up any.
I tryâŠreally try not to panic and think there is a missing piece but every puzzle it happens. One-hundred percent sure! Lol. Of all the puzzles Iâve done itâs been maybe three where I was sure it wasnât user error.
I breathed a huge sigh of relief when you said you'd marked all the pieces so you could sort them in case of needing help. Some might accuse that of being a form of cheating, but I was just dreading the possibility that you might have to abandon the challenge and then potential future owners of the puzzles might have just wound up with a _colorful_ mess that couldn't be solved. Glad to see you managed the challenge though.
Itâs not cheating if you donât use it.
@@esmaystokhof I agree in this case!
@@esmaystokhof I wholeheartedly agree. I was just anticipating that some people might consider it cheating; you know what CZcams comments can be like sometimes, there's probably people who would try to claim even opening up the possibility of being able to cheat is akin to cheating.
@@esmaystokhof you can't really cheat on puzzling as there are no rules! But she was definitely thinking here!
yea, marking the puzzle pieces is a good safety step
I love how the colourful puzzles are âtherapyâ and you just took the therapy out of them by mixing them and upping the stress level đ
đ€Łđ€Ł
nah but even a regular one looks stressful to me đ
After solving the puzzles, you need therapy
"Should be easy enough" - Karen clearly hasn't learned anything from her previous videos, because uttering those words on this channel has never ended well lol
Except this time it was actually true, surprisingly!
From the beginning (or really from when I saw sneak peaks before this) I thought that this would be a nightmare. As it turns out, the three puzzles were colorful in different ways, so it wasnât as bad as I feared it would be. Iâm still not doing it, though.
Made me giggle đ€
Depends how you define easy
@@davidlove236 I felt like if you started solving individual colors, you'd eventually find blocks that'd fit together eventually (which then becomes a much simpler puzzle), so I stopped worrying pretty soon after she mixed the pieces up. The preview also took out a lot of the worry since it was showing she actually made progress somehow
I can't believe you mentioned "I Love Hue"! Whenever I see one of your gradient puzzle videos, I always think about how cool it would be to have a gradient puzzle in the style of "I Love Hue" where each piece is its own solid color, but they come together to form a gradient! I have no clue how something like that would be manufactured, I just think it's a super fun idea.
That exists! Look up the 1000 Colours puzzle. I have a video about it from a few years ago.
that is so cool! i wonder if there are pointillism puzzles with solid colour pieces
@@cabbage-soup the puzzle would have to be gigantique
@Repent and believe in Jesus Christ are you people bots or are you genuinely out here manually copy pasting Bible verses into random CZcams comments as if thatâs going to convert anyone to Christianity?
Yeeessssss I LOVE that game!!!! Iâve done like over 1k of their puzzles between the first and second versions
As a very colourblind person I enjoy watching a person having all these colour strategies that I cannot understand at all đ
This was incredible to watch this challenge Karen! We appreciate making the Gradient Therapy Collection the next level of challenge. Most of all, glad you had funâ€ïž
Thank you so much!
Thank you for making such beautiful puzzles!
Your probably gonna get money from Karen Puzzels next time she needs a break
@@sofiamariewyattwhy would she give away money
I think your next challenge to should be to solve a jigsaw in the style of Kristin: one-handed, looking only for the exact piece and never trying different things, seeming to be very slow but actually very fast and looking so bored that you have to hold your head up with your other hand.
your next challenge (to *do) | I hate that I canât edit that typo because then Iâd lose the â„ïž from Karen.
It's the bored look that really pulls the style together
Donât forget to do the edge LAST!
@@tiff2106 Yup, there were so many points to add that I forgot that one.
Literally never seen someone look badass doing a puzzle until her haha
I just had an idea for a fun puzzle after watching you do three at once. Imagine if a puzzle company made interlocking puzzles where you could remove the edge pieces and connect multiple puzzles together to form a huge design. You could put together buildings that eventually form Diagon Alley or create an intricate map of Middle Earth one realm at a time. Okay, maybe my nerd is showing but I would definitely buy something like that. đđ
I LOVE this idea đ
I had a puzzle like this as a kid! It was a high school musical one. The removable edges were marked on the back
Amazing idea!
I feel like I've seen this concept before as some sort of puzzle quilt
I bought my friend a puzzle thatâs called âLost in a Jigsawâ. The entire puzzle is a maze and there is one correct solution but the puzzle fits together in multiple incorrect ways. Looks super fun
I took HEAVY mental damage when you mixed the puzzles up, until you revealed that you put a dot on the back. That was a big relief. I would never take on such a COLORFUL challenge. I don't think I could do it. You are definitely the Puzzle Queen! Great work Karen!
I was lost in admiration for how well you were doing a puzzle challenge I would never even attempt, when it hit me--not only are you doing all three puzzles, but you also have to record and edit an entertaining video of all that work! You make it look so simple that it's easy to forget the staggering amount of other work you do on puzzling! All admiration here for the great job you do.
Agree 100%
24:37 I spot pride flags in everything I come across, including cotton candy and stickers, so that little editing note made me smile
It was unintentional, but when I spotted it in the edit, I had to call it out!
You must have alot of free time
@@kyarumomochi5146 I mean, most flags are 3 colors. Seeing 3 colors next to each other is going to set off some recognition in your brain, intentional or not. I'd bet if they said this about the flags of countries, you wouldn't have commented this.

A puzzle challenge i think you'd enjoy is the "talking jigsaw puzzle". My grandma sent us one awhile ago, and it was a lot of fun!
It's designed to be a big office building with windows, and it's cut such that all the windows can fit together, but there's only one way that they make sense. You get a bunch of little cartoon speech bubbles, signs, and visual gags, that all add up to tell you where things are in relation to each other.
I remember really enjoying it, and it seems right up your alley!
Colorful. I love "I love Hue too" it's so fun and challenging at times, but one of my favorite things about it is the layout and different level symbols. It's just so pretty and satisfying to look at. I'm so happy you know about it, I'm just now realizing how well the game suits you!
Yes!!! I finished both games because I played it so often while watching TV, and I'm so sad because I can't find any other mobile games with the same concept :(
I'm still working on "I love Hue". I didn't even know there was a version "too"!
@@really-quite-exhausted I just restarted the games đ I find it really soothing
That game is how I learned I have pretty decent color vision lol. I'm getting closer to finish it every time I open it. It's so fun lol.
ok but can we talk about how each time you finish a level with the fewest possible moves it just RAINS you with affirmations, like it really has been leveling-up my self-esteem đ
Now that is a crazy challenge. I would have enough trouble doing them separately.
I backed the Kickstarter for these but only got mine before moving so I havenât had a chance to put them together. I will say I didnât expect the box and jelly bean to have a background since I thought the shapes were the puzzle.
I love how dramatic you were at the beginning xD
Also at first I didn't even realised that all of those *colorful* puzzles are going to be rectangular. I thought that the bean one is going to be bean-shaped for example!
AlsoÂČ I really loved the music in this video
I was so disappointed that they all have a white border đ
I think it would be fun to see Karen visit a puzzle factory at some point to show how they are made!
Out of Context Karen: âOk, ow! That is cardboard, poking into my cheek.â
I always start a karen puzzle's video by saying "oh I'll just watch the first few minutes...." and then always end up finishing it without realizing time has passed at all. Great job with this! I knew you could just nail those colorful transitions :D also loved the subtle nod in there, #transisbeautiful ! Made me so happy
Me with everything
These three puzzles next to each other look like theyâd make great wall art!
Because of you, when I finish a large section I run my hands over it in an up and down fashion and it gives me so much satisfaction.
You should take that extra piece, cast it into resin, and make it a necklace! đ€
itâs really great that u noticed subtle differences between the 3 puzzles! i could never i would just go in blind and then give up within 10 minutes of starting đ
Definitely enjoyed I Love Hue Too more than the original. Later stages in the original felt like I was fighting the color accuracy of my phone more than solving the actual challenges. The greater shape variety in the sequel alleviated that issue.
Would you ever take on this challenge? Do you think it would be fun or frustrating?

You got me into puzzling!
I did it with 500 & 1000 piece bizarre bookshop and 1000 piece bizarre bookshop 2. it was really fun
I honestly think that this might have been the very first time that there was an ad in a CZcams video that I didn't just skip....
Definitely FUN!! I love gradient puzzles.. sooo satisfyingđ. Could see myself up for this challenge
Would love to do this challenge!
I'm just gonna share a thought that I had today. Do you always look this nice while doing puzzles? When I'm doing a puzzle I sit here in my ugly and stained joggers in my bed and look like I haven't left my room for a week... well sometimes I don't tbh đBut really, am I the only one?
When Iâm not filming, I look exactly like you đ
The art you did at the end with the jelly bean puzzle was so cool and colorful!
I love the colorful gradient puzzles you've done. My family has just started puzzling together and we have finished 9 puzzles in the last month so maybe we'll tackle a gradient soon. Funnily enough your channel popped up for me after the first couple puzzles we did.
Itâs weird when you find an extra piece in a puzzle - usually the missing piece fear is ever present, but never do I anticipate an extra one. I got an extra in my 9k Disney Museum - I sincerely hope yours doesnât have any missing, but if it does, let me know - I might have it! đ wouldnât it be nice to reunite a missing piece with itâs proper puzzle? đ. Loved the video - very colourful (British spelling đ)
This was so satisfying to watch. Can we appreciate for a second how beautifully edited this video is. You are truly a master of puzzle timelapses. Will come back and rewatch if my day needs to become a little bit more colorful.
I love how these are gradient puzzles, but with more interesting designs than just being one gradient. Theyâre gorgeous!
I've gotten a Revensburger puzzle with an extra piece before and it was SO confusing at first.
Solving the inside of a puzzle completely, before doing the edge looks so satisfying :)
I skipped around a bit, but I really enjoyed two different aspects: (a) the puzzle combination idea and (b) your video-making skills - such great editing, pacing, transitions, audio, and more!
Even though this puzzle must be stressful to put together, I find this video calming to watch and listen to. There's something about watching the colorful gradient fall into place as the music goes, or hearing your running commentary of distress and triumph.
I like it when you share your strategies rather than just a time lapse. đ
For us Karen, you do it for us. We never asked you to, but that's not the point. Your heart's in the right place, and that's what's important!
Seriously though, I found your channel not that long ago, and you're a lot of fun!
the view of those pieces at the beginning being mixed and the motion of all those little pieces is somehow really, really satisfying.
Thank you for flipping them over. It would have bothered me so much not knowing if there had been any mixups in these lovely colorful puzzles. đ
I have gotten puzzles with extra pieces twice. I have also gotten one with missing pieces.
The one with missing pieces were missing 3 but had 3 duplicates, so the number of pieces were correct. It was very frustrating.
your videos are my guilty pleasure, thank you for the time you spend making these :)
I don't know why youtube recommended this to me because I never do puzzles and I'm ridiculously bad at them. But this makes me want to finally try to work on that puzzle I got a couple years ago for Christmasđ€Ł
Very impressive video!
Great job! One gradient puzzle is beautiful on its own but three together is amazing!
You can see that you really enjoyed doing that challenge. You didn't really struggle with it at all and it was so amazingly colourful (sorry but I have to spell it the British way or it looks wrong đ)
I spell it like colour as well because it looks better and also I'm kinda British lol
Your analytical approach to puzzle assembly is so inspiring! Thanks for encouraging me! :)
This was so satisfying from beginning to end. Starting with the relief knowing you had an out with the dots on the back, the tricks, your enjoyment, flipping to confirm the dots were there, flipping back flawlessly, the creativity of mixing it up⊠this was visual asmr.
You sitting on the table at 29:45 was definitely my favorite part of this COLORFUL puzzle video!! Love you, Karen. Thanks for these excellent de-stress moments added to my life!!
đ»đ„°đ€â€đ§Ąđđđđ
So many satisfying parts to this video! Every time you finished a colour, then a whole puzzle, then all 3 puzzles, then the flips. Found myself smiling a bunch,
Normally I only start with edges with a straight edge along with each corner piece but I totally see why you started with contrasting colours
Great video Karen! Your choice of music is always so calming. I wish more puzzles had a matte finish like these have. So Colourful! đ„°
I am currently trying to finish a 1000 pieces puzzle, relaxing activity, and the image is pretty, but let's say 60% of it is made out of three different solid colours. I've organised all the pieces by shape, but I usually try 70+ pieces just to place one haha. Trying to finish it with my boyfriend is still pretty fun! I'm really admirative of what you're doing here, that's impressive. I probably wouldn't even have the motivation to mark all the pieces!
So so SO colourful! Just absolutely love the technique
This is one of my favorite videos youâve done! The challenge was really neat, and the cinematography of the pieces, especially the mixing in the beginning, was just so beautiful to watch. These colorful puzzles were very pretty and I like that they all had something different about them that helped you differentiate which pieces went where. That said, it also really eased my mind seeing you put the failsafe of marking the backs with different color dots before you mixed them all. Great job Karen!
This was seriously breath taking to watch
Never seen anyone in my life could make watching some put together puzzle pieces this interesting!
I love these colorful puzzles! Especially the 2 at the end. I'm going to put those on my wishlist. : ) About 3/4 of the way through, I was really hoping that you'd flip the puzzles at the end to make sure you did get the pieces in the right puzzles! Great thinking ahead at putting the dots on the back. It's always good to have a backup plan in place! lol!
24:36 "TransIsBeautiful" SIS YOU GOT ME CRYING IN THE MIDDLE OF A 40 MINUTE PUZZLE VIDEO đđ
Colourful! This video was genuinely so satisfying to watch, I barely felt like skipping anything, which is rare for long videos! I usually donât watch puzzle content, I just happened to find this video one day and itâs made many days better and easier, by just watching someone solve puzzles and sincerely having so much fun soothed me. Thank you
I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that gets extra pieces sometimes!! I was so confused while working on my Harry Potter puzzle because I had a piece that just didn't fit anywhere, and then I realized it was already put in the puzzle.
What an awesome challenge! It was so fun to see you solve it, and marking the pieces was really smart. As for the puzzles themselves, hearing that false fits are a possibility are a bit disappointing for me as I don't have great lighting at my place, so having the right fit fills me with more confidence!
It's always astounding to me how much time and effort you put into putting these puzzles together and filming/editing the process for us! Thank you, Karen - your personality and your videos make for the perfect entertainment!
I loved seeing your process for solving these puzzles! You have such an eye for patterns and details! This was very fun!!
This looks like so much fun! I've only done the cloudberries gradient puzzle but I loved it. Three gradient puzzles at once sounds amazing. I'm glad you had a good time doing this!
Um....Okay. I honestly didn't think you could do this! I've never watched you before but you are SO SO SO SO SO SO SOOOOOO good at puzzles! Whenever I do puzzles, I always have to try one piece in several different places, but you know EXACTLY where to put it on the first time! INSANE! XD I'm definitely subscribing! I wanna see more!
To be fair, I always pre-plan the closeups so you're not seeing me try wrong pieces for ages. I try pieces in the wrong spot all the time!
I saw the title to this video. My first thought was âwhat did you do??â I maintain that your ability to concentrate and not get overwhelmed is basically a superpower. I am learning from you
25:43, I LOVE your edits, and this is a wonderful example!! Just your hand on piece after piece across the last row to go in. Brilliant!! You're a great editor as well as puzzler!! đ€đ€©đđ„°đ»
Just finished an puzzle yesterday and I must say I love seeing them come together.
Still have another one to do as well.
Loved the little art bonus at the end! Very creative
Omg what a challenge! But the end result is so worth it x3 Seems like a lot of fun, glad you enjoyed it :D
I really enjoyed this vid! Thank you for your time filming this!â€
I only found your channel a day ago, but im in love. Puzzles have been a huge staple in my life for a long time, it was a huge family tradition all the time and specifically at Christmas. I have a major urge to do a puzzle now
Youâve got me looking at various colorful gradient puzzles to try. Iâve never done one đ
I put together a puzzle once that was all different color paint drips. That was really satisfying to finish. I can't even *imagine how hard it would be to combine with a similar puzzle! đ
such a fun interesting and colorful video! the table with all the pieces looked so aesthetically pleasing, and your editing is (as always) phenomenal! It would be interesting to see a video on how your filming and editing process is, for example how long did it take to put together this video? it seems so much footage to organize!!
I think this is so awesome! You make it looks so easy so I feel like I could do it but the reality would be⊠different đ
well, this is gonna be interesting to watch. edit: well that went a lot better than i tought it would, it was so satisfying watching everything come together, great video!
Colorful! Best video yet, thank you so much for sharing your time and talents with us!
The texture of those beautiful colorful pieces look like they would feel amazing! Most puzzle pieces are flat but I like when they have some texture, it brings in another sense to putting it together. Brilliant idea with the dots on the back! With that tip I might try mixing a few gradient puzzles together because I had a lot of fun watching you!
If you want to take the next step in terms of challenges, do my favorite one. Ask someone to choose 2 or 3 puzzles (of the same manufacturer) and mix all pieces in one bag and not give you the boxes/pictures. Go blind. It is so much fun! Piece by piece, you discover what the images are... but instruct the person not to choose gradient ones, those are too easy and the picture is not too exciting once revealed. Have fun!!!
A 39 minute video? Omg so much information to taken I LOVE IT!
I love your videos Karen, your enthusiasm is infectious and your viewpoint on various aspects of puzzles is so interesting.
The editing, the angles, the timelapses, like.. you are not only incredibly masterful with puzzles (and creating insane ideas like this one) but also masterful with your creative outlet :) I love watching your videos I appreciate the insane amount of effort you put in each one
These look like a lot of fun! Question, do you think you'd have had more fun doing 3 of them separately because you could have spread them out, or do you think the challenge was extra fun on top of already cool puzzlew, even if you didn't have 3x the fun of doing them separately (if that makes sense)?
Great job, Karen! I might be tempted to try this because it's so colorful, but I don't have the space to do it. So I'll stick with very challenging 1000 and fewer piece puzzles.
This was the most satisfying video to watch! All those beautiful colorful pieces layed out and the pure pleasure of seeing the gradients turn from pieces to puzzle †Gorgeous! I have actually thought of how fun it would be to do this exact challenge! I might eventually but Iâm still working my way up through the puzzle piece counts. Iâve just gotten relaxed about 2000piece puzzles đ„°
These are so COLORFUL and beautiful! I really want to get me hands on these Soonness puzzles, but I actually liked the illustration one the most. I'm impressed with you, you smashed this challenge!
Ok, so glad you at least marked the back of 2 puzzles. That made my empathy stress level go down for you. đ€Ș
I've learned to always give myself a way back out of these challenges đ
As a colorblind person, this is my personal hell
Excellent video as always. Gradients are my favorites. Loved how the "colorful" fiesta in that one messy pile became soothing beautiful gradients at the end. đ
Great video! These are beautiful puzzles, and it was so much fun watching you put them together!
I adore Soonness puzzles. I've done all three of these and while gradients are typically not super challenging, these definitely have their moments even on their own (especially the creamy colored parts around the outside of the box and bean). You are brave đ
What was the quality of the pieces? I'm thinking of buying the box one
@@RachelZ2000 theyâre great! Kind of unique. They use recycled cardboard but they have sort of a foam board squish feel to them? In a good way lol the fits are super tight.
When you get the competition puzzles from Ravensburger, you should try solving them like Kristen!
literally immediately obsessed with ur cinematography
I havenât watched the video yet but it seems really cool, what I would do to solve them would be to sort out the edges first(of course, always start with edges) and then sort the edge and middle peices into their colors, then start trying to solve themâŠ
Like greens go in the greens pile, reds go in the reds pile, two color peices either all two colors go together, whichever peice has more color goes in that one(eg. 40% blue, 60% green, green pile) or all of the same two colors(all green/blue or all red/orange) go in their seperate piles
Well done Karen knew youâd do it you are the queen of gradients. I struggle with one puzzle once i get more experience i might consider it. A very colourful episode.
Dear Karen, i want to say a veryyy big thank you!! you made me love puzzles!I love watching your videos. so far i have solved over 50 puzzles. again thank you very much! you are the best youtuber in the whole world! i have watched all your videos! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!
