Okay can we take a minute to appreciate the art used in this video for when blood was defeated along with when geodoof falling? It really emphasizes the feelings of triumph and absolute loss with the details and the art style itself. I'll stop myself from going on a whole artistic rant but awesome job Wafferscotch.

This ‘Bidoof clause’ now needs to be something that every player doing a nuzlocke follows: if you find a third Bidoof in a row on a certain route, the dupes clause is no longer active and the Bidoof clause says that you must catch a Bidoof of the given route. Now we just need to find a way to make this official.
That would be painful for me. I'd use them all for healing my other pokemon when times get tough.
That would be fun XD (and probably infuriating D:< ).
I like when he used a stab move of good power at twice the level of a starly and assumed it wouldn't have ohko-ed without the crit
I did a calculation and depending on the IVs of both the Starly could have survived non-crit actually.

@@celestia74 What really should've been done is using one of the bidoofs to weaken the starly (like... any of the starlys? at all?). Because they aren't level 10 brutalizers, they can crit without fainting the starly. That's the kind of thing you have to account for in the high-stakes arena of a nuzlocke.

@@giovannieich7487 Well, I only get food if I'm lucky. It's like Jurassic Park in there sometimes. Most people either buy their food from the rich people like a prison movie or hunt it down themselves. Bear Grylls has nothing on some of the stuff I've seen.

@@Magikoopa-tw8po Well, at least from what I‘ve heard, German school food is admittedly better than the stuff offered in American public schools, mostly due to differences in funding… 😅
The option to eat at school is only available from grades 1-7 though; after that, you‘ll either have to bring enough from home to last you through the 7:55-17:00 days or buy something during the breaks at stores close to your school.
Giving failboat stealth rock was messed up. He basically picked up the crumbled remains of geodoof and handed them back to him to use in battle
I didn’t even think about that, that’s so morbid. To be fair though, it is fitting for the Pokémon universe considering how messed up it is, with Pokémon that straight up consume souls being kept as companions despite keeping people from the afterlife that’s stated to exist in that universe

A fun start to a new Pokemon: Bidoof Diamond and Starly Genocide nuzlocke! Watched the streams for once and had a blast, lol. (Also I named by first Bidoof in my current Platinum Nuzlocke "A Geodude" in honor of "A Bidoof")
Edit: Because I have nothing better to do here's an update on the Platinum Nuzlocke for the 0 people who care!
My started has nearly died 5 times now (Prinplup kinda bad mid-evolution ngl) Old-gen Zubat through Crobat carries hard, lucky Gibble encounter who also now carries hard, and overleveling by one on my whole party for the ghost gym left me at a perfect level for a good three-four more routes. Oh and also only one death and it was a fodder catch so yey.

Hey I like the chibi style in the new remake! It’s actually similar to the original seeing how from the top down angle of the game the characters are chibi style.
Not enacting the dupes clause consistently will be the ruin of this run, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
