Playing this alongside Pillars of Eternity 2 while I recover in bed with my humble laptop. Figured I might as well make a video series on it too since I enjoyed it a lot the first time I played it (has a good story and characters that I quite enjoyed, regretted not making a series on it the first time I played).

I'm not one for turn based games, but your voice acting and the way you played everything out, really drew me into it, like a still and animated movie. It was REALLY good Hathur, great job.

never seen this game before, it dos look intresting! the romans was not big on the whole equality thoug soo it wil be fun to see how the noble lady does this :D
As a big reader of Ancient Roman history I was curious how they would handle it, and they do a pretty good job for a work of fiction addressing the anomaly of a woman with military authority during Ancient Rome (i.e. in reality it would have never happened.. some women in Rome had power, but it was behind the scenes and never with the military). The whole game is a fun "What If?" scenario and I appreciate the studio making the effort to give women a possible depiction of what it might have been like in an alternate reality.
They also picked an ideal timeline, while Rome was still a Republic and before the takeover of Emperors... Rome was a LITTLE bit more "liberal" during it's Republic era with ideas, making it more plausible a woman might have authority within the Republic (though it still would not have happened in reality of course).

I have! I love it. I just wish it was voice acted. Was a really fun / different story.
Yeah, the lack of voice acting in places is the only reason I never finished it. The world and everything seems so interesting.
What days are they usually going to come out
I'm aiming to do 1 video every 2 days (health permitting), sometimes 1 every day if I'm feeling particularly well. I will likely alternate between this game and Pillars (I am playing both to avoid burning out on 1 game). The next video will be Pillars of Eternity 2, then Rome, then Pillars etc... that's the plan anyway, but it might switch up a bit depending on my mood for the day (i.e. I might feel like play Rome for a couple days straight, or Pillars, etc.. but for now my plan is to play Rome 1 day, Pillars the next).
@@Hathur Honestly, don't care the order. You make both games uuuuh *I don't know how to put it into words* By using your own voice you give it more personality, not just have a dead spot in it to have to pause and for ourselves. Your accent REALLY adds to the time as well, gives it flavor if you will.
