    Briliant demonstration of the difference between experts in a certain scientific field and politicians. The politician had no scientific credentials but he understood human nature outside of the lab.Consequently he pretty much forced the scientist to say what he wanted.

    Oh what a coincidence😁.Ono of the worst governmental decision I witnessed. And one of the best political decisions I made. Masterfully played by Jim. "Very courageous" cornerstone phrase of series

    "Rubbishing a study report" Should have been the title and Sir Humphrey's tutorial could have been included.
    Yet "Animals to the vegetables" cracks me up every time.😆😅

    I love how here Henderson is in the energy business, as the first thing I saw this actor in was Doctor Who... Where he was the CEO of Global Chemicals

      @smorris12 Před 3 lety +15

      Global Chemicals obviously came /after/ the Henderson report when his career had been so savaged by the popular press that he had changed his name and started growing giant maggots to get back at the world!

    It would probably be Yes Minister/Prime Minister.

      But so few episodes..... Not that a lot of episodes are necessary, but if I'm on a desert island, I need something that might last a while, as well as being excellent. Perhaps MASH?

    0:55 - Notice how they had to light Paul Eddington a bit more here. He was sitting next to a table lamp, but in production the light was not providing the brightness required, and so a side up light was used by the team to bring more light to Paul, however they overdid it a little bit.

      Interesting observation. Somewhat too lowly placed also. But in contrast with current shows on television its lightyears better.

    Love how Hacker uses the methodology to discredit a report that humphrey instructed him in earlier in the episode to beat Humphrey at his own game and get the desired outcome he wants' politically speaking.
