  • Simple step by step guide showing how to remove the original radio without any damage to the car.
    Video also includes part numbers for the bits and bobs needed to upgrade to an aftermarket radio.
    Please note two types of wiring are used on this model car,one as shown in this guide is for a active system(car has an amp) and the other is for a normal none active system which is what this car turned out to be.

    I bought a 2013 sportage only yesterday and the stereo's lack of decent modern capabilities is driving me nuts.Definitely will replace the stereo.

    My Bluetooth stopped working. Thinking of just getting a sat nav and phone combo. About £60 off ebay. The video was great if i decide to go for replacement.

    Question for you: what wire did you use for illumination? My same year Sportage was 2 illumination wires - illumination ground / and other just says illumination..

    Hi superb video on how to remove factory fitted radio wondering if you can help. I was wondering if I fitted a replacement factory fitted one from a breakers yard would it work ok or would I have to have it reprogrammed by a Kia garage

    Hey. I have a question. Can you swap out the radio for the one with gps touch screen and make it work, or can not be done just that easy? Thanks

  • @ZoranMitrovicMrBombastiqe

    Did your steering wheel commands work after you installed this?

    • @PJsprojects
      @PJsprojects  Před rokem

      These vehicles need a steering control interface when fitting aftermarket radios. These are normally around £65 so consult your retailer as to witch one you would need.

      @@PJsprojects I actually have Kia Sportage 2012, and its exactly like yours in the video, so how did yours interface looked like and where did you got it

      @@ZoranMitrovicMrBombastiqe None of the vehicles in these videos belong to me, I’m trade and so get everything direct.
      Retailers should ask for your reg number to of which one your would need or failing that try the connects2 web site.
