Dodge is an exceptional character and the actor is great. The world building is also far better than the vast majority of mainstream offerings out there.
This was an absolutely epic short film. It developed characters, introduced vulnerabilities, gave glimpses into the society in which it was set, and gave a dazzling display on film. Really a top notch production with a balance of story and effects to make one watch it more than once, told in that very Aussie style of a localized story and the Irish tale of the adventure ballad. A great watch!
First, I think it's great that more locally-produced SO is coming out from Australia. Second, the amount of work put into this really shows. However, this movie looks like a whole universe is being squeezed into just fifteen minutes. I'm hooked to know more about the characters and the world the producers have created.
I know I am years late to the game... Excellent short films! I just got done watching both back-to-back. This would make an excellent full length fim. Hope you guys put one out.
Look forward to more. Very violent. Especially from the Australians who essentially have no weaponry excepting against their own. I root for Australian Freedom! We are truly ALL under attack.
She was still a baby when I saw the first NOVR and people were killing or getting killed over her. Now she's a young grown up. I wish this concept would transform into a full blown full length feature film. Not a series with lame episodes just like what others do with famous franchises, but movies with prequels and sequels. Actually, a format just like "Firefly/Serenity" would be very, very nice, in fact, the NOVR here reminds me of that strong young female personality that Summer Glau played in Firefly. This is a great work with very good concept. It will work.
What I could make out I liked. Watching on my phone, which a lot of people do nowadays. Please keep that in mind. I'm sure this looks bloody awesome on a cinema screen, though. The NOVR is an intriguing concept.
I loved this I wish the was more, It was a little hard to tell what was going on at times, with the smoke and flashes. You should pitch it to amazon or Netflix.
That was great! Realistic battle scenario, continually changing, making everyone think on their feet and adapting to an ever changing situation. Where is part 2?
Very well done! And I'm assuming this was made by non corporate individuals? Friggin Awesome group of talented people. Should be a TV series. Seen the hero character with the accent before. OK. same question I'm sure everyone else is thinking. where's the sequelS? haha. Thank you for putting this out there and appreciate all the effort and hard work that went into this truly fantastic production!
Thank you. I really enjoyed it. I would LOVE to see what you guys could do with a giant budget. Story is great. Your actors are great. Costumes are great. I'd love to see what they could pull off with more takes, rehearsals, resources, etc. If you had the same budget, I honestly believe you guys would crap on 90% of the Scifi coming out of Hollywierd. Small criticism if you care =). If I added anything to this film it would be a Military advisor on the set. Maybe you do but, some of the shots made get cringe. Lay prone or get in cover you fucks!!1 hahah. Other than some of the tactics I really enjoyed it. Awesome film guys.
Has anyone watched this with the Captions on. Makes it look like they're adding random words. @ 1:50 Captain "Oh i step back on sanctions. husband you save the top" Is just one example. I liked it without them. Laughed with them.
I like the concept very much kind of a cross between Ender's Game and Battlestar Galactica the major problem I have with it is the lens flare overuse if this was to be reshot with less lens flare and smoke this would be more watchable and easier for people to follow and you would get a higher positive response and more subscribers and oh by the way lose the shaky-cam that effect is so overrated other than that great job to everyone involved hope you will take the suggestions to Heart
Over done on CG effects to the point it really reduced the quality of the video but the story is like an ideal pilot for something much longer. Would be a great opening for a series similar to Battlestar Galactica
+NOVR Very sweet ofed movie for sure! Ised there going to be more ofed it or just ised this all there will be? All ofed so why dided they leaved the boy ond the big ship but tooked the girl?
WOW! I got SO many tangents on this story line.. I write short stories in urban fiction, as well as science fiction.... Would love to collaborate. Also, I can get access to high definition cameras to film local shots in my area, AND I have a niece just graduated college for editing..
Part 2 of N,O.V.R.??!!! It's not that often us die hard short film fans get to see a sequel, let alone one that's as compelling as the first (czcams.com/video/UvoBikru8Rg/video.html, which is AWESOME btw) but this one shines. And friggin' Dodge is BACK! WTH is up w/the Templars???? I sincerely hope there's another installment to this story. Just like the first chapter, this sequel has great acting and now that the children are grown up a bit, they get to show off how well they know their craft as well; with just the right blend of practical and cgi effects this second chapter has massive replayability. (Standing Ovation) Keep on truckin' and Break a Leg!
Really hope you guys can push this for a Netflix or CZcams series this is great it almost makes you think of Battlestar Galactica Etc I mean it's really cool. The premise of humanity changing is not a faults one as we go into outer space if we do do that we will probably change if we survive. At one time man was more spiritually LED capable of gifts which we have eradicated through extermination of those people who had these gifts but those gives me become important as we expand into more dangerous worlds outer space being careful how you and having precognition could be very important or people may decide that they want to live in a world in a society where people are like that. So it's very interesting, a little rough on the eyes with the flares and the excessive Battlestar Galactica weapons and I think it's kind of funny that the enemies using flare guns while we're using machine guns doesn't make sense I would think that we would also be using electromagnetic guns also but maybe electromagnetic doesn't work on the enemy while it works on us. Lot of variables there that could be explained over time like a weapons officer say saying hey you know don't pick up an enemy's weapon is not going to work for you make sure you have yourself a really armed blah blah blah you know help people understand why we are using old-time crap while the enemies using modern weaponry. And please don't play the women that they are helpless moaners like the wife was I'll tell you if I was living out in the world like that and I know that there were aliens that were wanting to kill us I would be armed and dangerous I wouldn't be waiting for my husband to defend me I would make sure that I was able to defend myself and if my home and my child so please don't play the women here to be the old Prairie wife who just sat there and let the any herself get run over by the way again if you're going to do this please. Otherwise great series congratulations hope you guys can pull this off I think it's definitely something that should go forward I seen a lot of these videos and this is definitely something better than 98% of the stuff out there thanks and thanks for not leaving the endings ambiguous we know there sequels but at least finished that session.
That would be okay, if Space Above and Beyond, Battlestar Galactica and most other scifi properties didn't explore the same kind of theme (humanity (the symbol, not the people) among the stars). When creating new content, it's always good to recycle old themes in a new way or present it in a new format?
Good short, although the characters, ships and action are sometimes too hard to follow, either being too dark, or too quick or obscured by special effects. The music is also too loud in some places and should be toned down a little bit in order for the actor's words to be clearly heard. I would also amp the sound on the "telepath's voice", so that it adds more weight to the actor's reply on "Don't you hear her?" - it being clear to him because it's so loud (the girl, after all, is unable to control her gift completely or accurately), but not to anyone else (because she isn't talking to anyone else). If I need to ask where certain characters are (because there is so much happening on screen), that means that the characters are not being highlighted. I love space and ground battles, but I need to know where everyone is so that I can suspend my disbelief in immersing myself in that scene. I need to know where the good guys are, and I need to know where the bad guys are and how one side is fighting the other. Having glowing shields, explosions and globs (glowing orbs) being hurled back and forth doesn't help if I don't know who is doing what and what the tactical layout of the fight actually is? Also, repeating scenes or dialogue (He's got a bomb, for example) is also a no-no. You can someone remarking about it in one place, and him grabbing something and holding it up in another scene, but to do it twice or more tends to get annoying. The only place where it might work, is if it is remarked as a joke somewhere else or referred to indirectly (something that goes boom, for example).
Dodge is an exceptional character and the actor is great. The world building is also far better than the vast majority of mainstream offerings out there.
Excellent! This is a great continuation of the first NOVR film. "Dodge" is a great character and the actor plays him so well. You guys rock!
Cawood what did you not tell the truth what you really think only pulling your pisser😂😂😂😂
This seems like it was good good, if I could see the film through all the DAMN SMOKE AND LENS FLARES
i agree. it makes it hard to follow

Excellent short films!
I just got done watching both back-to-back.
This would make an excellent full length fim.
Hope you guys put one out.
More. More. ..... great work...
A Hollywood studio should pick this up and run with it.
Both shorts were pretty good. I'd watch more...
REALLY good !! This could be a TVseries if it was picked up by a network
Time for some crowdfunding to make a full scale movie. I would donate. Well done!
Damned good. Can't wait for more.
This is great. It would be an awesome movie I would go see it. Keep it coming.
Well, that's 15 minutes I can never get back....
Amazing piece of work, well directed: Bravo!
When you grow out of your teens, you can make this smt good
I thought it was solid... Good job!!!!!!!!
This was a rip roaring masterpiece of cinema.
This was AMAZING. THe space fight scene.... omg! YOu make some really good movies! I aspire to be at the level you guys are one day. Simply amazing!
Look forward to more.
Very violent.
Especially from the
Australians who essentially

I root for Australian Freedom!
We are truly ALL under attack.
Everything about this video outstanding,,,except it needs to be remastered in HD.
WoW. That was so awesome. Ya gotta turn this into a movie, if u haven't already..!! (& i mean a full length movie).
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

There's a whole range of accents here. I heard Australian, South African and Irish at least.
What I could make out I liked. Watching on my phone, which a lot of people do nowadays. Please keep that in mind. I'm sure this looks bloody awesome on a cinema screen, though. The NOVR is an intriguing concept.
apparently, someone's dad owns a lens flare shop........lol
I loved this I wish the was more, It was a little hard to tell what was going on at times, with the smoke and flashes. You should pitch it to amazon or Netflix.
This movie is awesome two thumbs way way up👍👍😂
What’s the rest of the story and who are the characters, let me get to know them.
Excellent especially the ending
MAKE IT A SERIES, LUV IT
What with all the pyrotechnics, we didn't get much chance to understand her, her role, her power
one if the best great story line
Very cool !! I loved it. Thanks for the share.
enjoyed this.would love to see the full film..
Awesome action, loved it thanks.
That was excellent!!!!
Very well done!
Really good. The space battle was too busy though
Great film need a full movie of this
Captain of the big ship... Lemmy!
That was great! Realistic battle scenario, continually changing, making everyone think on their feet and adapting to an ever changing situation. Where is part 2?
Good one, except for the bloody lense flares and smoke fx. And the light firing guns. Very hard to watch, still thumb up.
Very well done! And I'm assuming this was made by non corporate individuals? Friggin Awesome group of talented people. Should be a TV series. Seen the hero character with the accent before. Let's save the world. It's an offer. Awesome!!!!
The concept is amazing but with a bigger budget would've been even better
Was good..a little hard to follow at times though.
Quite the special effects. I was a little lost as to what/why things were going on but intend to rewatch.
Very well done
I wonder how much this will be like reality in 500 to 1000 years.
Good movie 😁😁
Good stuff 🤘
coolmusic
I want more!
This movie is awesome it
With a lens flare / meaningfulness converter, this could be decent.
Excellent
Ender's game is first thing that came to mind.
yay. part 2 :-)
I liked this and commend it's creator.
Over done on CG effects to the point it really reduced the quality of the video but the story is like an ideal pilot for something much longer. Would be a great opening for a series similar to Battlestar Galactica
COOL
+NOVR
Very sweet ofed movie for sure! Ised there going to be more ofed it or just ised this all there will be? All ofed so why dided they leaved the boy ond the big ship but tooked the girl?

Listen to this with your eye closed.

holy crap, why isnt this a series on Netflix?
Nice
Girl's a Little Star
Nice work! Where was this made?
A little over the top on the lens flares and the sparks are kind of unrealistic. Other than that this is a top notch production for a short!! :-D
Movie looks like star wars that's how good this movie is it belongs up there with the best
Flares!!!!!!
So why did the dots on the evil broads face change sides?
Silly.
Blessings In Love,

not bad needs a rework on the lighting and flares but a good show
Not making more? Shame
Are you going to make any more films
Solid in the action, hardware, FX departments. However. Excessive lens flare and smoke FX is somewhat distracting. Again, solid everywhere else!
And the music washes out the script. Otherwise not too bad. I couldn't quite get into the movie though.
BLOOD and STEEL 3rd cav...
good but hard to watch
Needs more lens flare as I was still able to make out some scenes.
My eyes, they burn. What lens flare?
Good short, although the characters, ships and action are sometimes too hard to follow, either being too dark, or too quick or obscured by special effects. I would have appreciated clearer dialog & plot progression... seemed too effect heavy to the point where it was distracting and even annoying...
What was all that about ?! :/
Aliens kinda looked like ForeRunners?
👍👍👍👍👍👍
I didnt get the story . Could someone please help? What do the aliens want from the girl?
Pls add accurate camptions, could hardly undestand the dialogue, drowned out by the effex audio.
