I’m so impressed with turn in, it’s hard to express how willing it is to dip into corners. Amazingly, it’s also somehow very stable in a straight line. Riding this bike has been life changing for me… I’ve owned at least one Ducati for 16 years and the Panigale made me cry. It has taken my heart like nothing else.

Lovely bike, festooned with so much electronics,…just wait till they start going wrong 🤨,…would you really want one of these once the warranty has expired 🤔??

@@jayh5641 I’ve had an 899 Panigale from new, got BST carbon wheels on it now ( these were a complete revelation, like giving the bike an extra 20 horsepower! ) and K-Tech suspension, tbh I just can’t see my way past it 🤷🏻‍♂️ ..fast enough and you can use more of it, more of the time 👍
I could ( at a push !) afford this new V4s, but what would I do with it??…too fast for the road and too expensive to track it, so just keep it in the garage and polish it 🤔?

@@1956colinb I get you man.🤜🏻🤛🏼 The V4s is for the rich who can afford it and replace it or repair it on an off. If I was that guy I'd have one. Even in the intermediate's. Why not I'd still be enjoying the bike and not worried about binning it. Even if an Gixer 750 passes me, who cares right. Feel I'd still go for a RSV4 tbh 🤷🏻‍♂️🤯 to many variables dude 😎

"There's no other road bike that has power mapped gear by gear". This just isn't true. Like at all. I have an electronics kit for my 2018 GSXR-1000R and the stock map (the map that the harness read out of my stock ECU, as well as the stock ECUs I downloaded for different regions (US, EU)), has power mapped by gear for all rider modes (A, B, C). None of them are 1:1. They all map power down in the first 3 gears, and 1st gear in particular is mapped down a lot. This is done by configuring the electronic throttle opening, so even if you give 100% TPS input, you'll only get, say, 80% at the top of 1st gear.
I would find it hard to believe that other bikes don't do the same thing.
All of this said, perhaps the wording you used hints at something different that I didn't catch, in terms of how this is actually accomplished in the V4S vs other bikes.

it's either ducati is the only one who thought of putting it on their marketing materials, or the other manufucturers are just lazy. Because I also don't remember reading (or watching) anything of sorts from other bikes. The only time i've heard of it is from custom ECU flash/tuning.

Actually Panigale is the best you can get on market x the sector, not just among the tops. No other bike&brand can boast a similar tech innovation and overall quality, the gp world champion title implement. on Ducati country road bikes. Bmw tourers are way behind about that and their 3k lesser price is not comprehensive of electronics, which are optional ( 😕😕😕) . As for the Harleys, lets just pass on and not say how they're nicknamed by some bikers ....

I don’t agree that this is a dream bike. We don’t talk about 26-35k cars being dreams. They work out at 300-400 per month on a personal contract purchase. Pay as it falls in value. Invest in something better (invest in a life sense rather than capital investment - more an investment of fun, time well spent, experience and quality / safety)
