    At this rate award winning Match Game ran from 1973 to 1982 and it should have done that on CBS sitcom/game show Match Game it's also a comedy too but with all the celebrities appeared each week can't tell the difference but i watch the game show since I was a kid but now I got used to it and there's so many things I like to get involved!!

    Newberry's was a chain of discount retail stores, kind of like a small Kmart, or a larger Woolworth's...some were in southern California. Richard also mentioned Akron stores in a previous episode. He obviously liked lower-end retail chain stores.

      Sanity always appears insane to the unsane. Racial stereotypes have a humerous appeal to the baser instincts, and deserve therefore to be unappreciated and discouraged.

    • @Drchainsaw77
      @Drchainsaw77 Před 6 lety +9

      Well aren't you just a goddamn snob. "Baser instincts," indeed. Base instincts are funny, too, and stereotypes have a basis in observable reality; offensiveness is _not_ an objective quality of something. See, the thing is, when humor is discouraged, you've got no outlet left, and that's _not_ a road you really want us to take.

    • @stellarjay3314
      @stellarjay3314 Před 6 lety +3

      //Base instincts are funny, too//>>As I said: "Racial stereotypes have a humerous appeal" ............ //stereotypes have a basis in observable reality// >>Obviously but so what? ............ //offensiveness is not an objective quality of something//>>This does not the change the fact that something deliberately intended to be insulting or mocking is potentially (and indeed likely) to offend the subject being mocked; objectivity and subjectivity is irrelevant. Derision is derision. Stereotyping that is mocking is derisive by intent whether the subject is 'too sensitive' or not; therefore, it is base, and the responsibility to have better manners ultimately lies with the offending party. It is interesting how bigots (and I'm NOT directing that term, personally) don't seem to mind demeaning others for prejudiced reasons, yet they are so insulted and offended when being labelled and pigeon-holed themselves by being deemed bigoted (i.e. something 'abnormal,' something to be derided). .............. //Well aren't you just a goddamn snob.//>>>Name-calling is indeed base, however. ............ //the insanity of the early 21st century//>>There is indeed much insanity, now. There has been much in centuries past, too. There is no such thing as a Golden Age in humankind's legacy, to date.

    • @Drchainsaw77
      @Drchainsaw77 Před 6 lety +13

      You know, it's a question of freedom. Either you defend another's right to say things that might offend you and others, or you don't. I do. I recognize that things intended to be funny aren't necessarily intended to be insulting or mocking. And if they are, so what? Life's too short. It must he horrible to go through life as you do, looking around for something to be annoyed about when it's nothing more than people _saying_ things. Settle down, grow up, grow a pair, grow a thicker skin, and develop a sense of humor, and if you're offended by things, _let them go._
