You just gotta love Alex.
Amazing shots you should try them 😂
Can't blame him. Getting payed for playing a game you love
A special love shavari has....yes
Anyone who doesn't isn't human
I'm following you everywhere😂😂 I'll take a wooden playing cue, carbon fiber shaft playing cue, breaking cue, and a jump cue each with an extra shaft and a 4x8 case with the shivari logo on it 😁😂❤️
That draw shot is incredible , that's some shit
Welcome back genipool we missed u
@4:15 that's some really good draw shot.
That SVB power draw is one of the best draw shots I’ve ever seen, love him, Looking forward to see his great performance in the mosconi
4:16 i just love these screws when people dont drop their elbow. Such a fine technique.
Shouldn't dropping the elbow be better, as it gives longer follow through?
@@genipool basically, not necessarily.
At snooker you can actually witness deep screws without the dropping elbow. Dont get me wrong tho, it requires some sick technique to perform insane screws with dropping elbow, specially in snooker..
But since timing is what its all about, its fun watching these shots.
For me, im just extra amazed when they follow through a small portion of the shaft.
He stood up on the shot tho, I'm wondering if staying still can generate a similar power.
@@genipool the follow through is more so to ensure that you're 1) shooting straight down your line of aim and 2) you are accelerating through the ball. Your tip is only in contact with the cue ball for a fraction of a second, so theoretically the length of the follow through is necessarily all that important. The most important part technique wise for a draw shot like Shane's is the grip hand. It needs to be very loose. Maintaining that type of accuracy with that loose of a grip is the impressive part. Aside from technique, new felt and freshly cleaned balls make this shot a lot easier to do once you get the hang of it.
@@syxQn he does move his elbow up and then down below the 90° mark. So not an "elbow drop" but there is movement.
That draw shot by shane was incredibly difficult to execute perfectly straight back. Very small margin for error. (if any)
Straight back is technically zero margin for error. Cue ball literally has to hit with no angle else it will deflect on impact. Also, the draw must have zero side spin component (since he cued with some down angle else the cue ball would swerve some). That stroke was ridiculously impressive. If I had half that much draw I'd be thrilled!!!!
And it was on a 10ft table! Crazy.
Amazing drawshot by Shane. Man…
Incredible talent on display here. My goodness.
Shane has got a powerful game. Power and control.
Hard to balance that.
His draw was the most impressive here. I've done it many times on kid table but it's another thing to pull that off on 9ft10ft. Whole other ball game.
That 4:15 shot by SVB is amazing. He is my favorite top pro player. To see that kind of precision firepower is amazing 🪄
The craziest part is he didn't even hit it that good. He kinda jerked stroked it and his stroke is usually so much cleaner on extreme draw shots like that. But what do I know I'm a total moron
Maybe it looked like he jerked the stroke a little bit. I think that was because of the cueing angle with the ball distance to the rail, the amount of speed that he had to put in and the camera angle. It could be smoother but I wish I could shoot like that regarding of the type of stroke.
I know that's right my man lol. I seen him play live at the blue diamond in Detroit and his stroke is just filthy.
See I'm an amateur I would have tried hitting off the long rail and cutting the ball in and hopefully get back up table....Been a rookie mistake for me probably lol
the crazy thing was is he had a few other options to choose and he was down by 1 in the match. I’m not sure if he just figured he would have a shot on the 4 ball no matter what or he’s just that good but what a touch 😂
I Love This Game ♥️🎱
Great compilation! Thanks for sharing your time to put this together. Good stuff! 👍👍
why are there 10 ball games as well in a 9 ball championship?
Awesome
#5 is actually #1.
1/1
Love alex reaction
I always find it interesting to think about how all these awesome shots we see in highlight videos and replays would just never exist if they were miscalculated or misplayed by the tiniest margin. They would just fade away never to be seen again and just be a missed shot in a random match.
The word 'sin' translates as 'to miss the target'
Shane that draw i love it
Shot number 5 nothing is better than that power draw
Awesome!
VB power draw is insane.
It's always a sight to see when Shane breaks
Amazing
Guy1: whata shot
Guy2: hahehahaehe
Link or title for the break shot in the intro please
The Lion
SVB the ultimate pro
4:15 for the thumbnail!
I guess it's in an attempt to make it more entertaining but I really don't agree with that choice to make it a win when you pocket the 10 without calling it. It's basically 9 ball with an extra ball now. Pointless.
When did this start??
I agree should go back to the old rules... Keep 9 ball 9 ball and 10 ball 10 ball🤣
4 15 lo más difícil de pool
Despite living in norfolk I couldn't afford to attend, so who won?
The game at @8:37 where Alex gets the 10 ball in early - that is a win? I thought 10 early does not make a win even if called
Is it really necessary to have the text block so much of the viewing area? How about placing it in the upper corners so we can see all the balls and shots?
What text? If you talk about subtitles, you can turn them off, this is automatic CZcams feature, which isn't controlled by me at all
8:37 gorst is like: alex the "lion" pagulayan? - more like alex "that little shit"
Gorst lost the match. Old Pinoy just wiped young whiteshite off the rim.

👍
9:12 It kinda looks like this shot came from snooker
2:29 De Lunas force follow shot.. Hes the only one to even attempt that but to execute that as well.. Bruh
Extreme follow but not a force follow shot.
Wait, an absolute dead spot on plant makes it into the overall 2021 Top shots of pool? Or was the bank shot on the 2 the top shot?
If you type the time of the shot, would be easier to answer
@@genipool Place 16
2 ball is not a bank shot, it is a kick shot. Combo is showed just for the viewers to see he had the next shot afterwards
@@genipool Ah, thanks for the clearance :)
recently heard: The past is history and the future is a mystery. Today is a gift, that's why it's called the "present".
С Чинаревичем прикол)))
6:03 In my opinion, SVB's shot was a fluke. He was trying to cut the 1 ball into the lower left corner pocket and get position on the 2 ball, but instead, he got a perfect safety shot. The reason why I believe it is a fluke, it is because SVB is looking at the 1 ball after the hit, not the cue ball. If he was planning to make a safety shot, he would be looking at the cue ball path right after hitting the ball. Check the video and you will see SVB is following the 1 ball until he realizes that he misses it.
I think SVB was searching for someone who asked?
4:20 Wilson with a squirrel running around in his skirt
10 minutes of flukes
With the sound turned all the way down its watchable
4:19 seriously
In 10 ball u didn't have to call the shoots?
WHY Alex can fluke the 10?
Sometimes these guys just make you sick.
I miss efren though
In before Shaun Murphy complains about amateurs...
wait a sec... flukes on 10ball count??? since when? and if they count, whats the point of playing 10ball and not 9ball??
I love Shane as much as anyone and give him more credit than he probably deserves sometimes. I'll be a god damned monkeys uncle though if he was playing that roll up on the 2 4 rail safe. He might have been playing part of it but, that's a hard sell for me. Unless he came out and said he was playing that and i missed it or something.
I have to believe he was playing the 1 safe and the bonus was getting behind the 2. He knew what path the 1 would take and also knew the cue ball would end up on the opposite end rail... there was always the chance of getting behind the 2 in that scenario.
@@chili015 agreed
This is a different kind of 10 ball rule where the balls don't need to be called?
Why are we playing slop 10 ball? That's not how that game is played??
These rules are just for this specific 10 foot 10-ball tournament
Isn't that 10 ball? :|
Main 9-ball tournament plus 10-foot 10-ball.tournament
@@genipool :)
На этом турике в десятке дураки считаются?
Да, на десятифутовом столе они такие правила сделали
@@genipool спасибо.
Only muricans can take a perfectly balanced game and cut out the one rule it was invented for. 🤦♂️
Don't hate😆 pros are building and so will the game. Wait till it gets changed to 4 balls lol
@@dustonwalston3059 yes, so why make the game easier?
@@mr.lootybutthole i mean like wait till 3 has to cross the head line and pocket one for it to be a legal break. And Euro tournaments has the same rule with the head line
@@dustonwalston3059 i know, it is a good rule. Just on 9 ball though, as far as i remember. Also the 9 on spot. The best thing that happened to pool in the last decade.
No, no, he has a point tho...
