I just got 2 from a convention. Was amazed I found them. They’re so cute! Would love to see more content!

Hi I was gifted 2 one male and one female. How do i know theh are both eating well. I have seen the male eat off of the tongs before bit never seen the female eat. She also hides a lot. I want to take care of them well.

They will mostly feed at night as they are nocturnal. You can watch to see if they eat crickets or monitor how many mealworms you put in a separate dish and see how many get eaten each night. Ours don’t eat off tongs so it’s mostly about making sure the right amount is put in the enclosure for them to hunt at their own will.

I will be patiently waiting for a breeding video. I had a 2.4 group. Unfortunately one of the males died. Will the lone male still mate with the females. I've only had them for 3 months. No eggs yet. These are wild caught animals. Every one else are doing great.

Sometimes 1 male is enough but it’s best to have 2 males as it will increase breeding competition and you’ll hear them chirping at night

So do you just turn off the heat light at night? And could you just keep two females in an enclosure or do you have to have a male?

We have our nighttime temperature set to 20 degrees Celsius and the heat doesn’t come on as that is around the room temperature of our reptile room. You can keep many females together without a male that is fine 😁
