Never got more than He-man and skeletor so got bored with masters of the universe compared to GI joe and Starwars. But my earliest toy memories was of He-man seeing a friends cool figures with diffrent functions. Kind of magical.

Jeez once again...super jealous of the Dino Riders stuff. I swear you guys over in Europe got way more of that stuff because I NEVER see it anywhere here in the north east USA. The Mutant Module is something I want to get back in my collection again too. I had one as a kid and my parents sold all of my turtles toys at a yard sale without even bothering to mention it to me!

i looked up some childhood toys i remember. the bandai megaman toys are ridiculously expensive...i remember some random scifi army things that snapped apart and you could mix and match your own vehicles...i cant remember what they were called....

Wow, awesome collection! Especially for getting it all within 10 years. That's impressive!
I would definitely agree that a different sculpt is cooler than a color variant. But I'm severely colorblind, so I can't see most variations anyway. Unless it's a variant that essentially makes it a different figure, like Wonderbread He-Man, Blue Snaggletooth, or the blueberry Food Fighters Short Stack, I don't really understand it. I view it mostly as a waste of money. But I guess that's what makes the hobby so interesting: everyone collects in their own way. :)

It's crazy how TMNT has gone global. I remember back in 85-87 in my NYC High School buying the comic which was in black and white and being a little more adult than what it has become these days. Met the creator in NYC where it all started. Now TMNT is too kiddie oriented for my interests. but good for this collector.
