Ive been dealimg with this issue when I had my throttle body vapourblasted. Idles high at 1k, and fuel consumpsion went up 50%, been driving the SVX that way for almost a year. I could not figure out why. Try a parts car throttle, idles like a gem. Then as I was cleaning that dirty old throttle body I noticed a line of black paint I was now missing on my shiny part. Got the same bottle now, time to do it too. Thanks for the guide, Ive got 4 more motors that will need this, sure hope it works.
