250 g pork, minced or thinly sliced
1 tbsp minced shallot
1/2 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp fish sauce
1/2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tbsp caramel sauce or honey
1 ½ tsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp. sesame seeds
1 pinch salt
1 egg
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp peper
100 ml oil
1 cucumber, Cut into long slices
Serrano or jalapeno pepper cut into slices on the diagonal
pickles, chili, coriander
maggi sauce
1/8 tsp five-spice powder
1 tbsp minced lemongrass
carrot and daikon cut into thick slices

I made the egg York spread and instead of thit nuong I replaced it with Vietnamese pork chop. It was so good.

It looks delicious, Helen! I love the sesame seeds in the pork and of course lemongrass makes EVERY protein taste better. :) This is definitely a do-able recipe for me, but I need to get a portable stove so I can cook outside as my apartment isn't well ventilated. :)

Bánh mỳ thịt nướng ngon nhất nhất mà mình từng ăn là " Bánh mỳ thịt nướng Lạng Sơn" ở đường Trần Cao Vân, ăn thật sự rất ngon,.. nhắc tới lại thèm .. chẹp chẹp. Nhớ cái thời cấp 3, tan trường lại xấp mặt đi học thêm, vì ổ mỳ này mà xếp hàng chờ dài cổ đến nỗi đi học thêm trễ =))) chị Helen hôm nào ghé ăn thử =)))

This looks heavenly my favorite sandwich ever which unfortunately I do t get it in India ☹️so excited to find this recipe and try it out 🙂!!! Is there a simple way to make the pate as well it just adds a whole new dimension to the sandwich

Ở thị trấn tân hòa, huyện gò công đông, tỉnh tiền giang có xe bánh mì thịt nướng cực kì ngon, rẻ, làm nhà trăm phần trăm từ đồ chua, pate... Thịt nướng thì phải nói là cực kì ngon luôn, nếu ai có dịp ăn rồi thì mình đảm bảo ko thể quên. Bánh mì ko tên, nhưng mọi người đều gọi là bánh mì cô Hoa nhé
