Produced by us in Feb 2021, this is our first ever solo shoot interview with Hall of Fame legend, Greg Valentine.
Find out how it was hanging with Andre the Giant back in Japan, before both men were in WWF (World Wrestling Federation, now WWE). Hammer discusses several tag matches against the Giant and Wahoo McDaniel.
Greg also wrestled Andre one-on-one. In one particular match, Andre the Giant sat on and then farted on Valentine, before pinning him 1-2-3.
From Houston 1979, Valentine was involved in a Battle Royal with Andre the Giant, Bruiser Brody, Gino Hernandez, The Spoiler & many other legends.

I heard somewhere that if Andre farted on you during a match it's his way to tell you to get your mind focused on the match. If it was during WWF/WWE days it was his gentle way in telling you he's the top dog in the stable. And he never forgot any offense either. And if he didn't like the wrestler he's fighting, he'll take his head and smash his face near or in his armpit and wrapped that band around his throat while brutally squeezing the poor guy's head like a grape.

I'm pretty sure and that him and Jake the Snake Roberts are the only two oh I guess you could include two of the cast members from The princess Bride all three of the heroes were on the getting ready to storm the castle when dude is mostly dead and Andre are saying something about wonder how long it takes to work well if you look it up dude's telling the story about Andre letting out this 15-second fart that is so hilarious you'll tear up just watching him say it. Look up Andres fart on set at princess Bride like a hundred of them will come up you'll see it that is hilarious with him describing it. On CZcams of course. Lol!

Greg was always a favorite of mine he claims not to be a tuff guy but in my opinion he Is a tuff guy and a genuinely nice guy I love his work hes the best he looks awesome

Really humble gentleman and was very tough in the ring.
One of the main reasons why professional wrestling sucks now (other than the obvious) is that the business has nobody like Greg Valentine. True, believable, tough guys who can actually wrestle, and a willingness to put guys over. Not only could he do his job well, he understood the psychology of the business, and what made sense. He didn't let his ego get in the way of what made sense for the business. Thanks Greg, for making the "real wrestling business" as good as it was! You High Spot Pretty Boys got nothing on The Hammer.....
Strikes me how time can be your most precious commodity and your worst enemy at the same. Seeing those guys wrestle in their prime as a kid will always be a special thing for me and a great thrill of my life.

I think that at some point or another Andre had farted on absolutely everybody he encountered. LOL. And he called all of his friends "Boss". I really love watching these interviews with Greg Valentine. The man has a killer memory and just has endless stories and good things to say.

I used to HATE the tag team of Brutus the Barber and Hammer because they were bad guys and were so tough to beat. Looking back that is a testament to their characters. I'd love to hang with Greg Valentine and listen to some old WWF stories over a few beers.

The Hammer was one of my favourite wrestlers to hate. I was a huge fan of Brett as a kid.
