As a Christian growing up, there were a lot of questions I had, unanswered questions that were never fully answered by pastors, my parents, friends in Church, whoever. Years later I reverted to Islam, Alhumdulilah for guidance from Allah (swt), God Almighty ( All glory be to Him). But I always found it difficult to understand how as a Christian our pastor would say 'the Jews are still Gods people'. And the Jews don't believe in Jesus (p) or his message (the Gospel). They believe that he's dead and burning in hell to this day, and are still waiting for the 'real messiah' to come to them. So how are they 'still Gods people'? Then another thing, if you have to believe in the crucifiction, the blood shed, trinity; what about the people that were alive before Jesus (p) was born? How did they get to heaven? And so on. Islam gave me all the answers to these questions.
    Alhumdulilah for guidance and Islam.

      Muslim says :
"Its like saying i cant forgive you until i kill myself"
"not only that, but you need to believe I killed myself (neuzubillah), otherwise hell... it's so illogical.
      "
"Or it's like u asking for someone for forgiveness and they say I'll only forgive u if u torture and kill my son who is myself"
      But God says:
      1 Cor. 1:18-25
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:
      “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
Where is the wise person? Where is the teacher of the law? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

If he just says ok I forgive you, how would the offense be punished for God's Justice to be satisfied? And if he just put us all in hell, how then we can say he is merciful and loving?!?
The price of our sin had to be paid or God would be breaking His own rules-God forbid. And therefore, the solution for proven Himself Love and just is for Himself to take the punishment.and it had to be Himself so you and I not think he is not fair to someone else. Also, because the size of the offense against God is limitless there for the price should also be limitless and since there is no limitless but God , He decided to show His love to us and save us this way.

@@ashtube12 God dying FOR us is INJUSTICE. He is punishing Himself for OUR sins because it can be no other way? lol... We're in trouble.. not Him. Lol it's like the "penalty of sin must be fulfilled" idea is like some other powerful thing that God is bound by. He ordains certain actions as sins.. and they cannot be erased but through sacrifice? lol... Just realize that you have an emotional attachment to this idea because it sounds like, "Awwwww He did that for me??? How sweetttttt". So you have a hard time understanding that it's not that crazy. He just forgives our sins when we ask for forgiveness or sometimes even when we haven't. It's that simple. Because He is the one who called them "sins" in the FIRST place. It's not like sins are some other entity or something that he is below and needs to satisfy the sins' [god]. LOL Just realize what I'm saying. You need to step out of this mode of thinking that He had to die for justice to be served or else it wouldn't be served... and all that. It's all BS honestly. If He had to die on the cross, He wouldn't be setting the "rules" up in the first place! I shouldn't even be saying that... that's how stupid this is. Sins are just things He says not to do. You do it, he possibly forgives or doesn't forgive. Simple. So that's why this whole dying on the cross thing is just so stupid. It's so crazy how people actually started believing that idea. Somewhere along the way, people were ACTUALLY tricked into worshiping a man (a great Messenger of God) and that he died on the cross for our sins. It should be very obvious that that's not what God does. But people get really engrossed into the idea that they don't even realize how over-the-top it is. I hope you realize ashtube12.

Psalm 91 is not a Messianic Psalm. It's a Psalm for the righteous, which is why satan (satan said it, not Matthew, Matthew only recorded it in his Gospel), applied it to Christ. It's simply stating what God does and will do, not what He always chooses to do.

no religion is the right religion. Religion is just man's attempt to reach God. The only way man knows of God is that God makes Himself known to man.
Holy God used 40 men to write 66 books under the power of God the Holy Spirit to make Himself known. He used every type of literal in the Bible from historical narrative, to poetry to didactic to prophetic. The Bible was complete 600 years before the Quran was discovered. And much of the Quran was already in the Bible.
Jesus as the Son of God offered himself as the required sacrifice for the penalty of sin that we might have access to Holy God. Jesus is God made flesh and He loved you and me enough to die in our place to relieve us of the penalty and power of our sin.
He alone is our Great High Priest
Heb 4:14-16 Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Trying entering Heaven without someone paying your debt for all of your sins (even a little lie is a sin; if you break one Law / Commandment, you’re guilty of all of them) is like saying, for example, you rob a Bank and you tell the Judge that he has to let you go because of your good deeds, like you’re praying 10 times a day, helping the poor, you’re a good parent to your children, etc.)…. And the Judge, since he’s JUST and no corrupted, tells you that he’s not judging you by your good actions, he’s here to judge you for the crime that you’ve committed. Basically, your good actions don’t forgive your crime. Then, you’re sitting in jail and they tell you that someone who loves you so much just paid your fine and that you’re free to go, someone came to bail you out of jail. What would you do? You got 2 choices and you have the free will to choose: Or you accept and come out of jail or, you say No Thanks, I prefer to stay inside this terrible place with the rest of the criminals and pay my debt for the crime I’ve committed. And that’s what Jesus Christ did for all of us 2000 years ago, he paid YOUR debts with his blood so your soul won’t perish in Hell for Eternity. Therefore, good deeds DO NOT forgive your sins and since ALL of us, no exception, are sinners (all of us lied at least once in our lives) we’re ALL guilty to God’s eyes. So, or you accept that someone already paid your debts or, have fun paying them yourself…

Now tell me what is the proof that his inner guilt of sin and emotion has no role to take part in forming Christianity as we know today, it is he who claimed son of God died for salvation and he also claimed Jesus would return in his life time which obviously is false. Better you open your eyes before it's too late , you actually believes in Paul more than prophets all of them like Noah, Abraham,Adam, Daniel,Issac,David, Solomon,Moses,Aron, etc. These prophet never told Jews about God had a son and Jesus said "Father is greater than I", " I can my own self do nothing" .

Yet Abraham was called justified (even before circumcision(!), because He believed in the promise of the One who would shed His blood for mankind. Blood is necessary. Galatians deals with this extensively. When talking about the law we need to first establish which one so there is no confusion.

also i do agree with not trinity, but jesus peace be upon him backed up by the holy ghost,
or that jesus peace be upon him, when you say he was the way, the truth, the life! this is very similar to the sayings of mohammed saw, that he is the best example, ie mohammed saw, and he is the messenger bringing truth from Allah,
and also that mohammed saw said he will leave us with sunnah and Quran!
i find very often that we agree, but not to the same degree!
the principals are much easier to agree on than the translations that has been made, and you cannot justify it in the scriptures, it is from priests! same way we can see in islam happening, or judaism! where rabbis or imams are saying their own things that cannot be backed up by Quran and sunnah! or torah
now there are alot of deviations in islam unfortunately!
but to sum it up, we believe in your scriptures and you do not believe in ours!

Christian Pettersen LEARN OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECY.
At the end, the LORD and SAVIOR of MANKIND JESUS CHRIST will save the remnant JEWS for He is a JEW. He will seat on King David's throne and reign for 1000 years while satan and his followers are imprisoned. On His 2nd coming, the Old Testament prophets wrote that He will fight nations who are populated by Muslims. So, we know the dajjal, Mahdi and satan will be imprisoned. If you want to know the equivalent of dajjal, Mahdi and satan. Just read this prophetic verse:
REVELATION 16:13 Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the DRAGON, out of the mouth of the BEAST and out of the mouth of the FALSE PROPHET. 14 They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of GOD ALMIGHTY.
WHO ARE THE PLAYERS IN THE ABOVE VERSE REV 16:13-14, THE GREAT BATTLE:
      1. DRAGON = SHAYTAN
      2. BEAST = DAJJAL
      3. FALSE PROPHET = MAHDI
      4. GOD ALMIGHTY = the LORD and SAVIOR of MANKIND JESUS CHRIST
      CHRISTIANS ALREADY KNOW THE END...

Why would God take on earthly flesh as Jesus to be crucified to save humanity and forgive sin? Because he loves his creation and promised not to send another flood and destroy all of humanity and civilization, he gave himself to be a final sacrifice so that no other would have to be sacrificed again. He promised to save the righteous before finally destroying sinners who do not want to live the way God intended and Jesus was meant to show us the way to salvation and guidance to live a life free of sin, so that we may survive the apocalypse. When Paul went to Jerusalem there was a big argument, and the one who stands up was Peter not James so when Peter finished talking then they heard Paul and Barnabas. Catholic Bible. Acts 15:1-2,7-8,10,12-14,19-20
[1]Then some men came down from Judaea and taught the brothers, 'Unless you have yourselves circumcised in the tradition of Moses you cannot be saved.'
[2]This led to disagreement, and after Paul and Barnabas had had a long argument with these men it was decided that Paul and Barnabas and others of the church should go up to Jerusalem and discuss the question with the apostles and elders.
[7]and after a long discussion, Peter stood up and addressed them. 'My brothers,' he said, 'you know perfectly well that in the early days God made his choice among you: the gentiles were to learn the good news from me and so become believers.
[8]And God, who can read everyone's heart, showed his approval of them by giving the Holy Spirit to them just as he had to us.
[10]Why do you put God to the test now by imposing on the disciples the very burden that neither our ancestors nor we ourselves were strong enough to support?
[12]The entire assembly fell silent, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul describing all the signs and wonders God had worked through them among the gentiles.
[13]When they had finished it was James who spoke. 'My brothers,' he said, 'listen to me.
[14]Simeon has described how God first arranged to enlist a people for his name out of the gentiles.
[19]'My verdict is, then, that instead of making things more difficult for gentiles who turn to God,
[20]we should send them a letter telling them merely to abstain from anything polluted by idols, from illicit marriages, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. James just give credits to what Peter had spoken.

Adnan cites Psalm 91 as a messianic Psalm. It opens with the words; 1 "Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High

    and was numbered with the transgressors;
yet he bore the sin of many,
and makes intercession for the transgressors."
And in the gospel of Luke, Jesus explicitly identified himself as the suffering servant of Isaiah 53; Luke 22:36 “Now, however,” He (Jesus) told them, “the one with a purse should take it, and likewise a bag; and the one without a sword should sell his cloak and buy one. 37 *For I tell you that this Scripture must be fulfilled in Me: ‘And He was numbered with the transgressors.’ For what is written about Me is reaching its fulfillment.”*
In short what is plain and explicit is ignored, and a contrary argument made from some other text which they think supports their Quranic views.

Stay focused man. Glad to see a debate between two very opposing religions in such a peaceful way. Also to have both people so familiar with the content is so amazing to see and that they see things from different viewpoints. I think the thing I wish Dr white had talked about is the difference between works and faith in both points of view. Of course you have no faith if you don't apply the works in your life. Works alone is not enough, that is what God has been trying to tell us from the beginning and we do not listen. We want laws and leaders to tell us what to do so we don't have to take responsibility for our own lives. Jesus puts that responsibility back on us. Jack of all trades master of one is the saying. You are the master of our own salvation and Jesus has provided us a path to salvation by his sacrifice that we are no longer slaves to the law

But a Pharisee in the council named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, held in honor by all the people, stood up and ordered the men to be put outside for a while. And he said to them, "Men of Israel, take care what you do with these men. For before these days Theudas arose, giving himself out to be somebody, and a number of men, about four hundred, joined him; but he was slain and all who followed him were dispersed and came to nothing. After him Judas the Galilean arose in the days of the census and drew away some of the people after him; he also perished, and all who followed him were scattered. So in the present case I tell you, keep away from these men and let them alone; for if this plan or this undertaking is of men, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. Adnan keeps talking about the gospel of Luke but conveniently forgets that in that same gospel Jesus predicts his own death and resurrection and that he came to save the lost, how do you miss that unless you are cherry picking verses to make a case? and how can you then say that Paul invented the doctrine of atonement? in al the gospels it is clear that Jesus is the saviour of ALL mankind and so the cross is for all including the prophets before him who all looked to his coming in hope! It is clear in the debate that Adnan (although a good and respect worthy speaker) is selective but deceptive in his research while James White is thorough and more careful not mis-represent the texts he uses. Muslims have to be selective because although the Quran affirms the Bible as true it also does not clearly understand the Christian teaching it addresses.
