VIDEO COMPARISON TEST - LITFIBA TEX OFFICIAL VIDEO WATCH IN 4K! VRITA

Salve a tutti, in questo video vi farò vedere le differenze tra la mia versione restaurata ed il video originale.
Sono un grande fan dei Litfiba, una storica band italiana, volevo restaurare un loro video ufficiale ed ho scelto Tex, il bellissimo video girato nel Painted Desert in Arizona.
Piccola premessa:
ho utilizzato il video dei Litfiba preso dal loro canale CZcams ufficiale in quanto non esistono DVD o raccolte con i loro video ufficiali (in questo caso sarebbe stato più semplice ed il risultato sarebbe stato migliore).
L'unico modo era prendere il loro video su CZcams che presumo sia una conversione di una vecchia VHS che presenta diversi problemi... Alcuni di questi problemi potete vederli al minuto 00:45
Non esistono trucchi o programmi automatici in grado di rimuovere tutti questi problemi in modo preciso. Infatti, Dopo numerose prove con vari programmi alla fine ho deciso di convertire il video in singoli frame per modificare a mano i frame danneggiati o sostituire i frame che presentano linee per tutto lo schermo. E' stato un lunghissimo lavoro, ci sono voluti circa 5/6 mesi e ci sono stati diversi imprevisti...
Basta considerare che su 8225 frame del video che sono stati controllati tutti singolarmente uno alla volta, 1098 sono stati modificati/sostituiti a mano.
Infine ho fatto un upscale ed ho editato il video aggiungendo le scene finali ed iniziali comprese le animazioni, applicando una color correction, gestendo i contrasti e la nitidezza, effettuando una riduzione del "rumore"
e ritagliando i bordi neri dell'immagine. Diverse parti del video sono venute bene, altre parti risultano meno dettagliate ma questo è normale considerando la qualità iniziale (VHS) dalla quale sono partito.

Hi everyone, in this video I will show you the differences between my restored version and the original video.
I am a huge fan of Litfiba, an historic Italian band, I wanted to restore their official video and I chose Tex, the beautiful video shot in the Painted Desert in Arizona.
Small premise:
I used the Litfiba video taken from their official CZcams channel as there are no DVDs or collections with their official videos (in this case it would have been easier and the result would have been better).
The only way was to take their video on CZcams which I assume is a conversion of an old VHS that has several problems ... Some of these problems you can see at minute 00:45
There are no automatic tricks or programs that can remove all these problems accurately. In fact, after numerous tests with various programs I finally decided to convert the video to single frames to manually edit the damaged frames or replace the frames that have lines all over the screen. It was a very long job, it took about 5/6 months and there were several unexpected events ...
Just consider that out of 8225 frames of the video that were all checked individually one by one, 1098 were modified / replaced by hand.
Finally I did an upscale and edited the video by adding the final and initial scenes, the animations, applying a color correction, managing the contrasts and sharpness, reducing the "noise"
and cropping the black edges of the image. Several parts of the video turned out well, other parts less detailed but this is normal considering the initial quality (VHS) from which I started.
