      This will happen all over Europe and it will be though. Maybe eastern Europe will be able to keep the light, but I doubt it as they are underdeveloped. The truth is that Eastern Europe has the most recent memories of states controlled by fear and retoric being that they were the last to escape communism. But the distain with which they are seen by the rest of Europe and the economic atrophy means that they are weak and dependent.

      Well most of the citizens are not highly educated or informed at all. Germany's population is old and the country's economy is in need of workforce. 4 people need to work to pay the salary of 1 retiree. How will you solve this problem? You don't have time to wait 20 years for a new German to be born and raised.

      The AfD was first formed as an anti-EU moderate-conservative party, its origional founder has left and condemed the party and a vast majority of Germans think the AfD is a threat to democracy, so I dont think imigration is the root issue behind the AfD.

Its the current politicians/policies causing the issues, not the AfD, so that's the logical starting point for reflection and change. & Refusing to do so only grows AfD popularity because they are listening to what citizens want.     People have just lost faith in government. Inflation has ravaged most economies around the world and more people struggle just to survive. People feel like they are not being heard and what the media portrays is if you're dissatisfied the the status quo you are right wing or racist.

      Its incredible that such a party can get any support at all. Germany has been the leading example of a nation that has successfully grappled with the tragic consequences of a deeply problematic past.
      And then ç the AfD shows up wanting to throw away all those decades of hard soul-searching work by the German people.
      Honestly, it is traitorous on their part. Possibly literally and legally traitorous, given what we know about the Kremlin"s clandestine support of far-right parties through Europe.

However, you cannot change the demographics drastically and maintain any of these things. The people from other parts of the world have their own languages, culture, religion, and traditions not that of the place they are moving to. This disrupts the native culture, and people. It also negatively affects social cohesion.

      Funny thing, one of the reasons why Brasil isn't more homogeneous is because it accepted thousands of Germans and now it has millions of Germans and their descendants living within its borders. In the US, The second largest ethnicity among white people is German. I don't have data on Argentina, but there are a lot of Germans there too.     Solution is easy. Be stricter with immigration like the Danish left wing parties that only returned to power when they did so. Deport. if you can't do it due to the coalition try a referendum if that is possible. That can hep defang the issue. Otherwise AfD will keep growing.
    Then there is also the issue of economics for the East to tackle.

    Afd is your only way out it seems Germans. I live in Turkey and I recently canceled my plan to migrate to Germany because of the situation there. It's becoming more similar to Turkey every day just with slightly better living conditions and it's not worth to relocate in my eyes now. I've been learning German for months and I'm discouraged now.     In normal conditions Immigration would be a natural and good thing. The problem is that the immigration rates that we are seeing today are not normal anymore and need to be dealt with asap .
