@@BONZITORONTO There are homeless in USA, UK, AUSTRALIA, in general all over in Europe, not only in Canada. What makes Canada unique is that the crime rate is lower than most countries, and it is not a country with more racial, color, and religious differences. Thus, it has been selected as the most suitable place to live in the Gallup survey for consecutive years.Canada has been chosen as one of the most favorable countries of the world,we love Canada.

As an American, Canada sort of amazes me. The country looks so similar to the US yet there are subtle differences like the traffic lights (the orange outline), blue street signs, and the kinds of people (ethnic composition) you see.

Well, it's okay if you can afford an avg. of $2,300 a mo. rent for a 1-bedroom apt., or, as a senior, if you can wait 20 years (read "live long enough"), as per the last advice 2-3 yrs. ago, for a subsidized housing apt. Nevermind the food costs, if you like to eat. Forget entertainment, no one can afford to go out anywhere. Then, if you're lucky, you MAY also be able to buy yourself some 2ndhand clothes, shoes & boots & housewares, furn., etc., at a Value Village or Salvation Army Thrift store. Value Village hv been accused of doubling their prices lately & not serving the low-income public, their traditional customer base. So, if you want to go to Toronto, bring a L.O.T. of $. I think condo monthly rentals are around $3,000 per. Just about all houses in the city now cost well over $1M per, & they often close at $200K-$300K over asking, with the bidding wars. (A reality check: Not much of a place if 2/3s of the population can now barely afford to live even a meagre life there. But, if you work in the high tech sector, as do a great many now, you can really live it up.)

WATCH OUT FOR THE GUY ON YOUNG STREET THAT WALKS AROUND NAKED AND PLAYS WITH HIS PRIVATES USUALLY IN FRON OF A BANK!! no.. SHAME!! and pot smokers walking around like there.. all that not considering those that don't like the smell but dame!!! If you smoke a cigarette it's a crime!!! This city is full of homeless alcoholic drug addicts please...beware of the violence the media hides
