Singer-songwriter and former British Army Officer, Blunt's album Back to Bedlam shot him to fame in 2004. The songs 'You're Beautiful' and 'Goodbye My Lover' sold over 11 million copies worldwide, topping the UK charts and reaching the number 2 spot in the United States. Blunt has also gained a reputation as a prolific tweeter.
In an hour-long interview led by Speakers Officer Jonas Dein, James Blunt discusses everything from his careers as a soldier to his twitter before performing two of his best-selling hits.

I've never seen such an uninteresting interviewer,he looked totally disinterested most of the time. Thank god for James and his sense of humour and great storytelling. Absolutely love his music, don't care how posh he is 😍 I did laugh at his explanation of the song beautiful, I listen to it in a different way now, but still love it.

Idk if it's a pr thing or whatever but James Blunt has never given a "star" vibe. He's so "just another guy" but a complete package as an artist and a human.
I've heard from multiple people who have worked with him say he is a complete gentleman and genuinely very pleasant to be around.

When he first spoke of "Your Beautiful" he said he saw his ex on the bus and they just looked at each other, she was with someone else. He said they lived a lifetime in that moment... I am not sure now, if that is just a story he told, but I like it more. Either way, James Blunt is still awesome. I heard he has a greatest hits out... I think I will go shopping for it tomorrow.

Spot on - he’s not only talented but he was dedicated with his service - he was also selected as one of the first 4 Royal Guards to stand by the Queen Mother’s Coffin when she was lying in state- he never blows his own trumpet- I don’t think he likes to do these sort of interviews but does them because he appreciates just being invited to do it- I like him 👍🏻🇦🇺

This is painful to watch!! The interviewer doesn't seem interested AT ALL and no one seems to be getting James' fantastic sense of humor!! I'm halfway done, but...it's painful.
YES the interviewer is on another planet what is wrong with him and these kids?They could all be stressed out from school? Sometmes professors ruin your mind while you are there and you can't relax!!! Is it possible??
