It's been over like 10 years since he wrote the song. If he still feels pain from the lyrics he needs psychological help. That's like having a family member die 10 years ago and every time you think about them you burst in to tears. As time moves on you learn to deal with the pain and if you don't then you are not all there mentally. I have an amazing therapist I can refer this guy to if he needs help.

When I was 25 and walking through Astoria, a mostly Greek section of NY, I passed a girl, she had long black soft curly hair, cabernet red lips and dark almost black eyes with perfect olive skin, she wore simple Calvin jeans with heels and a white t-shirt, she smiled knowing I was admiring her but never made eye contact, it was a 30 second love affair and I regret to this day not asking her name.
