We recently visited the beautiful and historic city of York and in this video I will share how we spent two days in this wonderful city. Including some must see sites and attractions as well as some amazing food we ate.
If you are planning on visiting York soon I hope this video helps you plan your time there and give you some tips of some must do things.

Just found this scrolling through as I want to visit York to see the Minster and the National Rail Museum. Thanks for sharing what you did and where you ate etc, I'm definitely going to Betty's tea rooms! The accommodation looked good too, shame it was so far from the city centre.
The minster is indeed huge, and took some 250 years to build!
Lots quirky places to visit & eat in York I lived here 51 years love it to bits, hopefully you will come back do cocoa works next time.
The Minster is largest gothic Cathedral North of the Alps our city is built around the cathedral so from air view u would see how it commanding its presence is. Thankfully city council over years has blocked any high rise buildings so the cathedral 300ft Tower remains highest point inside bar wall area of York. U can see the Minster from long distance away thanks to this.
York use have like tube style maps for all our pubs in principle 365 pubs one for each day of the year in York. Some oldest pubs in York Ye olde star Inn 16th century access via alley off Stonegate Street u walking from Helens Square to Minster & Black Swan near outer edge bar wall area dates to 15th century pub has been there.
If u come back also do Clifford's tower the construction work u saw is new wooden walkways being installed in keep fully open now actually made it much more interesting to visit instead narrow stairs & narrow walkways previous as helps protect structure from damage to
Enjoyed the video. The city walls don't allow pushchairs or dogs on them. They are also locked at dusk. People have fallen off in the past and locked in! Be careful.
Beautiful place beautiful weather perfect weekend away, I want to go just for the Yorkshire pudding wrap 🫔

Fabulous mini break…..I live 30 minutes from York don’t go that often I find it too busy….did the ride on the river eight years ago for my 50th….this was lovely as it was in July and a beautiful day. Done the ghost walk that was good. Hope you enjoyed your Bit of Yorkshire…..there is talk of Bettys closing down in York…… another time you must visit and go to the National Railway Museum I love that…

The Golden Fleece pub you walked past is The Most Haunted pub in York although I never experienced anything when I went in

Hi Chelle just came across your York vlog earlier must’ve been because i watched your Royalton Riviera vlog(we go there in September) and we are also going to York in June for the weekend really looking forward to it and watching your vlog gave us a few ideas of what to do & where to go as we’ve never been there before . How was the weather like during your guys's visit? Like, what do you think the degrees of C° it was?
We were very lucky and had lovely weather, during the day it was around 23/24 C
I liked the little girl! Arabella?
