Pseudoregalia Map, Time Trials, and Outfits Walkthrough

- Pseudoregalia's Map update is out! I checked it out a day or two after it's release and noticed that nobody had made a video showing locations, and how to do the time trials; so I did it myself.
I apologize for having the retro settings turned on in the location shots, I recorded those before the actual trials and couldn't be bothered to make a new save to re-flip those levers.
My gameplay is far from perfect or even good, but I hope this video shows you what you need in order to unlock all the outfits.
Written descriptions of things to take note of when doing the time trials for certain locations will be added with the timestamps.
I'd also reccomend having all movement related powerups before trying any of these.
Memento (Map Powerup) - 0:00
Dilapidated Dungeon - 1:10
Time Trial - 1:45
Outfit (Sol Sister) - 2:36
This one is located at the very intro to the game, you can actually see it in the intro cutscene when you start a new save.
The trial can be a bit tricky with the cage at the very top that you need to grab onto, but the time limit for this is pretty generous at around 1 minute.
Sansa Castle - 3:08
Time Trial - 3:40
Outfit (Professional) - 3:56
This is located at the "crossroads" of Sansa Castle. You'll need a basic key to open the door to it.
This one is the easiest to get, probably doesn't need anything other than just dash.
Listless Library - 4:20
Time Trial - 4:56
Outfit (Sleepytime AKA Sweater) - 5:49
This one is located in the room just before the sun greaves unlock.
Also super easy. You can see me flailing around because I clealry forgot the layout, but with 50 seconds to complete this one, it's super generous and super doable.
Sansa Keep - 6:14
Time Trial - 6:40
Outfit (Guardian) - 7:36
This one is located in the major key room of Sansa Keep, behind the right throne.
All I'd say is be careful of how Cling Gem interacts with the pillars,
Empty Bailey - 8:03
Time Trial - 9:00
Outfit (Soldier) - 10:24
This one's right in the middle of Empty Bailey, though the lever to unlock it is all the way up in the bell tower, which requires cling gem.
While the time to beat of 1:40 is pretty generous, one bad slip can still be a run ender, so just be mindful and stay on the route!
Twilight Theatre - 10:38
Time Trial - 11:56
Outfit (Classy) - 12:58
This one is in the room that forces you to get Sunsetter to progress, you know the one.
The lever is out of the way but not actually that hard to get to. Just ledgegrab the fencing, do a Sunsetter jump, and then Cling Gem over
The actual trial is pretty easy, though falling into the pit will reset you back to the crystal.
Additionally, this is my favorite outfit :3
The Underbelly - 13:25
Time Trial - 15:20
Outfit (XIX) - 16:29
Completed this one with only a frame to spare!
This one is located in that brick area in the dead center of the big room of the underbelly.
The Lever requires you to take a longwinded trip around. Also don't ask about the healthbar difference between the cut - I forgot how to actually get to the lever.
The timing on this trial is tight if you're not using speedrun tech. Mistakes are run-killers. Good luck!
Tower Remains - 16:54
Time Trial - 18:20
Outfit (Bleeding Heart) - 19:29
This one is located in the room where you unlock Cling Gem.
This one is hard. The time to beat isn't awful, but mistakes can kill runs easily and it's very prescise. Staying on route is essential.
This isn't helped by the fact that Cling Gem gets janky with certain camera angles, and the fact that cling gem pushes you upwards.
When clinging the diagonal walls, don't dash-jump, just dash off the lip of the platform and cling from there. Otherwise, you'll get too much height.
I don't know if getting diamond/blue times for all trials unlocks another outfit. If it does, leave a comment down below!

Okay, after some time grinding I've found that getting all blue times doesn't seem to do anything.

thank you for the upload! I am glad I got most of these before completing the game! I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything before beating the game....I had totally forgot the Listless Library one XD luckily that was the only one I missed!

Thanks for the video dude! Very helpful. I'm pretty sure the colors of the times are for ranking, and you only need to get the copper rank to get each outfit. I don't know all the times for the different rankings, but it goes Copper, Silver, then Gold.
No problem! Yeah as it turns out there are gold/silver/bronze times.
Nothing special is unlocked past bronze though. It's simply just to try and push yourself
Putting these costumes behind time trials is evil, but Im gonna get em
