Just added some 6 LED lights to my HOSIM 9125 and took it out for a night drive. Look and work fantastic. Being able to know which way the RC is facing with the lights is fantastic!
I'm super interested in the short track racing near my house. I'm running a castle 3 4 pole brushless motor with a castle ESC upgrade and fan. But I am running the stock rear end gearing and shocks.

I have a Feiyue Desert Eagle 3 and bought a light bar for it, but it has a 3 wire plug and the rc only has 2 wire plug place, any suggestions?

I got the keliwow fighter 1 & got lights for it plugged it into the 3rd channel but there is no 3rd channel switch on the transmitter & also do I have to get a bigger battery to handle it came with a1500mah? thanks
Does using the Axial high output LED controller preclude the need for me to use a BEC? I'm planning on installing an eight LED lightbar plus four tail light LEDs on my Axial Yeti kit that I'm building.
Loved your video. So I have a tamiya 1/10 CR01 UNIMOG. I want to add 6 lights to it as the instruction manual says. It only shows where the LED'S are installed. What do I need to plug the 6 lights into? And do I need a switch in order to shut the lights on and off from my transmitter? Thanks

I'm getting my 2 wheel drive slash ready for Race season coming up here in Tempe in November. I'm totally going to rock your decals.
I just bought a used 2wd slash also. It has the brushless velineon system on it. I love it! Got a great deal on it and would love to do some off road racing with it at my local track! What type of racing are you doing with your slash?
I love my slash and I've also upgraded to a 2s LiPo which is a 7.4 volt 35c which is the lowest recommendation as far as I found.
Yeah I have a 2s 25c and a 3s 25c or 30c I can't remember off hand. The 3s is crazy! It's honestly almost too much for a truck as light as the Slash is lol!

How many milliamperes can the receiver supply to the lights. I would think their is a limit on the number or size of leds’ you can install as far as power demand. I guess you could install a mini relay to power the lights if the power demand gets too high
So im new to rc and just bought a CEN F450 and adding after market front and rear bumpers that have led lights in them as well as a light bar on the roof... so 3 things with lights.. what light controller would I need to make them work?

Great video on How To..... I have some LED lights and it come with a JST connector which confuses me. I've seen this JST on other things like a fan. But my question is where do i connect that JST plug ?
JST may be connected to any power source with 4.8-6V and you may plug it in any empty receiver cannel. Receiver plugs are different, as they have three connectors (negative, positive, signal), but you may still plug something else in there. So you want to plug JST into just two (negative and positive) connectors in the slot.

Don't forget about other aftermarket option light bars and light buckets. Onetoomanyrcs has some great light bars and RC4WD has some great options as well. Some people like me don't like running off the receiver and chose to hook them up to a 9 volt. I've done the receiver before and it gets annoying when you have roof lights. Having to unplug them and wires dangling. Many light options out there.

I tell you that I have an RC traxxas Ford Raptor 1/10 scale 2wd slash, and I want to install that led light bar from the Pro Line brand, in addition to installing the front and rear lights to my truck. Which ones can you recommend?, My RC truck has only 3Ch model 6519 KA1867-R01 receiver. Ch1 Ch1 Ch3 Ch3. If I buy the led bar and the front and rear lights through amazon, can I connect them to my receiver? , Or should I change my receiver and change the remote control.? Excelent Video.

Im getting into rc trucks and a fan of rock crawlers. I am looking to get the scx10 as it has what i am looking for. Also going to get a venom 20c 2s lipo i think its 4000mah. Someone said they get about 1-2 hours of run time.But i wanted to know how much the lights drained off your run time.
Not really a lot, actually so small that it shouldn't be even taken into the consideration.

Hey guys Where do I get the Piaa fog lights
I have a clone of an HPI Baja it only has a three channel receiver which all three are dedicated since I will be adding a kill switch to the third channel how would I install my LEDs and power them I have not been into the battery box yet so I’m not sure if these top trucks are like nitros and have a battery plug any help would be greatly appreciated I am new to all this and I’m feeling very lost
You need just to power them, use Y-cable and plug LEDs in any channel.

I have the MYTRICK rc light kit on my Gen 8 Scout. It seems to turn the whole truck off if I am going through deep water. I tried putting conforming coating, and it does the same thing. Do I need to ditch the light kit?
You are shortening it somewhere while going through the watter

Either by multiple Y-cables or by soldering into one plug

With aftermarket stuff you really want to double-check. Everything is doable in RC world, but there are no guarantee that mounting holes, would perfectly match etc and you would need to make custom bracket etc. So I recommend to check in-store with sales or tech, to make sure that everything is perfect.

It is actually better to power it off of a separate battery.
I'm 3 years late butt turn signals for crawling are very annoying I might put them on my Kyosho 70' SS Chevelle and those type road cars for scale effect, thank's for sharing the tutorial 😎👍

The light bar into the servo kinna makes it hard to open and close body without tugging the line. What should i do?
Use standard servo connector in the middle

No add a basic servo extension and every time you need to take it apart just unplug the cable.

The least expensive upgrade is - gearing. Try changing gears first.
and you still be able to run Lipo batteries with your stock Motor/Esc (which is faster), just don't forget to switch mode.
Will that front bumper fit the yeti score TT?
Its for SCX10 so it won't.... unless you're willing to make some custom mountings

Sure you can, you just want to double-check scale and make sure that you have a spare channel on your receiver or get a Y-cable.

Servo wire extensions should do the trick. They come all sorts of different lengths.
So, on my receiver I have 2 ports open ; AUX and BIND. In what port do I plug it in ?

LEDs need a special setup, if you power them off of the battery they will strobe.

they had dirty shirts on 7 years ago i hope they cleaned up some if they are still around.
The best rc truck, car, boat, and helicopter is hpi racing they put real mini engines that run on nitro fuel and the parts are so realistic.
